High School DxD Discussion Thread 5: Shin and Slashdog Included

Nice, looks cute. Can update the OP when the high quality version is out. This may be our last thread here if the forums migration goes through.

I think Ishibumi would want to finish Slash Dog before writing another one, so could be the game or Season 5. I still hope for a movie for EX.
 
Yeah, he rather finish Slashdog soon, I'm really forward to the Ouryuu and Kanzaki spin-offs.
 
I mean, Kanzaki is one of the original protagonists he made before DxD, the other being Tobio. If Tobio got his spin-off, I don't see why Kanzaki can't.
 
Ishibumi was vague about the possibility of writing another one for Mitsuya. Currently, I think it's more likely that Ishibumi incorporates the Mitsuya / Innovate stuff in the Ouryuu novel since he's already established some connections between them.

If it turns out like that, I hope the story is split between them. Maybe like 70-30.
 
@Irekoz. Ise has been looking weird for the last 10 volumes.

@Burning. I agree, it would be cool if the Kanzaki and Ouryuu's spin-off were the same, since those two are clearly connected.

Miyama actually drew him decently in the Shin DxD 1 cover. This one just looks awkward. Hope the high quality version looks a bit better.
 
Apparently, there could be Vali vs Wukong. It that's true, I pray the match doesn't get rushed. Since the Vali Team will also be in Britain, I suppose the match can be at the beginning of the volume, kinda like Crom vs Ddraig.

I wanted to reply there but my phone crashed and I have to make do with an annoyance for now so I can't type large posts.

Still, there was almost nothing there we haven't talked about before. The only new thing is the AxA statement which I've expressed my agreement for, except we later get contradictions.
 
What I meant was that I agree with the upgrade he proposed for AxA, but that if we later get a hard contradiction to the 5-B statement (for example, if someone says it can't bust the planet with one blast at full power), then I would be fine with downgrading them.

Like I said in our previous thread, I'm in support of "6-B, possibly 5-B" for the god tiers.
 
If the fake Ddraig attacking Le Fay and Issei is true, then they could fight him for a while. I will guess Albion vs his fake and Crom vs Ddraig's fake (since Crom is tagging along cause of them, I believe Ishibumi would put him up against either of them).

Something like this already happened in DxD story, in DX.1 if I'm not wrong through Azazel device.

Btw, Shin 4 would be not only longest (468 pages) but also without Ero.
 
Don't know how true this is, but seems like Alphecca Tyrant can overwrite concepts:

A mysterious girl with Alpheca Tyrant made a nail out of holy aura and shot Ise with it the nail has an effect of overwriting person's concepts and the things he liked like ****, asses and thighs became embarrasing for him.

If that's true, we can see why King Arthur said it's very annoying.

Edit: I'm a bit suspicious if it's a fake spoiler as it's supposed to be the doing of Hades and the Alphecca Tyrant user is being hidden by the British Government iirc.
