Katakuri mid-diff. he's basically superior to preskip blackbeard in all aspects. One clean hit from large-sized power mochi or buzz cut mochi could be fatal. Blackbeard might have superior AoE via dark matter technique but i'm sure Katakuri could handle that via copying Luffy's elephant gatling

Y'all shouldn't forget Blackbear pre-TS with no df was able to injure Shanks a Yonko to the face
 
And you shouldn't forget that Shanks has had that injury since before he met Luffy. He only became a Yonko 6 years after that. Shanks could have gotten that injury years before he even met Luffy, and far before his prime.

Blackbeard was not Yonko tier, lol.
 
Yeah Katakuri wins easily, Blackbeard was demolished by a Whitebeard that was a poke away from death. The Shanks thing is just typical hype and definitely should not be used until we get a flashback or something showing what actually happened.
