He is replacing Ness and has to stop Giygas from destroying the Universe so yeah.

But does mindless giygas leads with that in-character?
 
Also, quick clarification here (not saying these would work just clarifying here):

Giygas's Void Manipulation is not Activated, it's Passive. That goes for his Mind haxing abilities as well.
