Hello guys, this is a small revision for the DMC3 cast which only involves Dante, Vergil and Arkham
First, the cutscenes, but the part that I need you guys to take a look is at 1:09:12
At that time, Arkham had stomped both Dante and Vergil and was about to receive the Force edge, covering the sky in a storm in the process. If you guys look close, while Lady is climbing the tower, you'll see that the storm covers the sky and the horizon even when we see at the top of Temen ni Gru, so it perfectly fits our standard storm calcs
Now yeah, Arkham needed prep time to do it, but at that moment he was capable of doing that and even after taking the Force Edge, which make shim even stronger, Dante can hold his own against him, and with Vergil they casually slapped him
About the storm, is a simple one that covers the horizon, so going by DMUA's Storm Page, it fall under Weak instability storms which are 2.40995597059316 Megatons, Small City level
Now yeah, like DMUA said, it could be something related to the seal being released, but in any way, it would scale to them
This is based on Paradox's accepted blog about the God Tier of the verse, where he wrote
Rather, the Temen-ni-Gru, and all other portals we see in the series, are actually portals that Sparda sealed after separating the Demon World and sealing it off, in order to prevent the remnants of Mundus's army and other rogue Demons to use the opportunity born out of the ingenuity and lack of knowledge of the human worshippers to travel between both worlds.
Recall the scan I linked from the DMC5 history video, about Arkham, where it states that unlocking Sparda's power through his sword would weaken the seal on the underworld? This ties directly with that. This is because Sparda split his power and placed it in three separate swords - Yamato, Rebellion, and the Force Edge, as revealed by DMC5. After Sparda separated the worlds and began sealing the Demon World, he also sealed the Temen-ni-Gru and hid the Force Edge on the other side of the sealed portal. The Force Edge ensures that the seal on the underworld remains active and powerful, and unlocking its power threatens its stability
Basically, The Force Edge keeps Temen-ni-gru's seal, when Arkham breaks the spell (With Lady's and Vergil' blood) and later takes the Force Edge, the tower rises completely and the storm is formed, so the Force Edge is, actually, superior to the tower, since it is what powers the seal that keeps it dormant, so it should scale to Blob Arkham, Post DT Dante and Vergil in any way
So my proposal is to change Dante's DMC3 key to:
> At least City Block level, likely higher (Even before unlocking his inner potential, Dante was capable of easily defeating Cerberus, who casually froze Temen-ni-gru's entrance). Small City level after awakening his Devil Trigger (Easily defeated Nevan by himself and later hold his own against Arkham, defeating him alongside Vergil)
Vergil should be Low 7-B right at the beggining and Arkham should be Low 7-B as Blob Arkham
So, what you guys think ?
