Gex had finally settled down, starting his normal routine of watching television, and everything seemed fine for him. That is, until the show he was watching, SuperFighter Brawl X, was abruptly cancelled, instead showing a super old cartoon in its place. Angered at this, he jumped into his television to confront the cup man. With the gecko seeing him as a nuisance, and the anthropomorphic cup seeing him as yet another boss, both of them square each other up, and get ready for a real wallop.

In the blue corner, we have Gex the Gecko from the game series of the same name, and in the red corner, we have Cuphead from the game of the same name.

Cuphead results
Gex
-This is a fight to the death or incapacitation. No holds barred.
-Neither character are aware of each other beforehand and there is no prep time.

-Neither character are allowed any outside help.

-This battle takes place in the Treetop Trouble area, giving Cuphead the slight home-field advantage.

-Early Game Cuphead is used.

-Speed is equalized.

With all this being said, let the debate begin!

Cuphead is extremely familiar with Toon Force, considering the cartoonish world he lives in.

Martial Arts don't help if he isn't close enough to Cuphead to use them.

Unless he can spin his tail like a fan or something, Cuphead's got more than enough projectiles to push through his reflection.

I will add your vote, but I figured I'd mention that.

But if Gex does get close enough, Cuphead will be royally screwed with his absolute lack of any CQC capability.

I will agree to that. However, Cuphead still has a short-term Invincibility Super that would allow him to tank the damage and get him far enough away to continue his ranged assault. Not to mention his other two Supers would be just as effective in keeping him away.

Treetop Trouble is very sophisticated platforming compared to what Gex has gone through. Cuphead probably has the range advantage, and is likely to keep his distance. Invulnerability and a homing attack will absolutely benefit him. Eventually Gex is overwhelmed with projectiles enough to where he can't get close enough to Cuphead. Attack reflection is a thing, but Cuphead has far enough range to avoid anything hit back, not to mention how fast his fire rate is.

I vote cup hand and head man
