Both are Low 7-B, Inuyasha could use some more matches and Sekiro's the new hotness, LET'S DO THIS!

Half-Demon Inuyasha (Low-7-B), Endgame Sekiro (also Low 7-B), Speed Equalized

I've got no idea if this is fair.

Wolf

Dog

Inuyasha is outskilled, can't put the dude down immediately, can't see him in stealth, and death blows one shot

Very easy win

Inuyasha's only win-con here is incap, as Sekiro can just rez himself repeatedly.

That's a game mechanic. The blood of the dragon actually prevents Sekiro from dying unless the dragon itself is gone.

In game he can resurrect three times before he has to resurrect at an idol. iirc it's because the first three resurrects draw on his own power, after which he resurrects at an idol, drawing on the life of people he's met and giving them dragonrot.

So have to kill him four times to win I guess?

I think the game mechanic is just the cooldown between resurrections. Sekiro can resurrect three times per battle after that he'll respawn at an idol.

I believe it was mentioned by Emma, the first time Sekiro gets dragonrot, that eventually the dragon blood will run out and use the life force of everyone around him instead.

The thing is that Sekiro resetting at an an idol is never addressed and as a From Software game, this is unusual, as NPCs in DS and Bloodborne all make it very clear that bonfires and lanterns are respawn points.

In Sekiro, everyone treats him as someone who literally cannot die. Even the Mortal Blade, something that kills the user and negs immortality couldn't kill Sekiro.

I'm... not even sure the BFR would be considered anything other than game mechanics to actually punish you for dying. Ovens is right, the buddha idols are basically just neat checkpoints.

Wolf has the most abusable rez to date in a Souls game (forgive me for calling this a Souls game if you disagree). Coincidentally, I know a good match.

If the dog has no means of incap/overcoming the spammable Type 4, basically, yeah.

Meido Zangetsuha is what gives Inuyasha the win. Meido cannot be avoided as it has powerful suction in both spammable blade form and giant spherical form. The former is something not even Naraku, who is pretty quick in his own right, could dodge.

I was about to say, lol. I was really curious on why stomp was being called when Inuyasha's primary move is BFR, which bypasses Wolf's rez.

I'm going to vote Inuyasha due to MZ, since that's the only way he can put Wolf down. Luckily, he seems to not only open with it, but spam it as well.

I guess it depends on how they start. I'm fairly certain Inuyasha has enhanced senses, and may be able to detect him through them.

And unless Wolf one shots Inuyasha right off the bat, Inuyasha should be able to spam MZ right after.

<Ehnhanced senses

Neat so does literally every somewhat notable samurai.

He can definitely one shot, if Inuyasha doesn't see him a vital strike is easy to pull off.

Stealth attacks are amped in verse anyway

I suppose so. Though Inuyasha seems to have both enhanced hearing and smelling, the latter of which would likely allow him to identify Wolf. I'm sure a Shinobi from an older time period smells a lot different than a modern park.

It also depends on where in central park they are. There are likely plenty of open spaces where Wolf can't sneak up on him.

Surrounded by trees? Or contains trees? A clearing in a forest is surrounded by trees, but lacks trees within its boundaries.

But regardless, that doesn't address his fairly potent sense of smell. Being invisible or surrounded by trees doesn't erase his latent scent.

Though DarkMadeus or RavenSupreme are far more knowledgeable on Inuyasha than I. (I feel like he's done something with regards to invisible opponents or projectiles, but I cannot recall unfortunately).

Contains

Sense of smell is a part of ehnhanced senses is it not? Even then, its not like he has a really strange or off sense of smell

Gotcha.

It's less so that he has an off scent and more so that everything has a unique scent, not dissimilar to how dogs can identify one human from the next through scent alone. Let alone a human from a tree.

To hell iirc. (Demon realm, something of that sort)

I may not be as knowledgeable, but I have watched through the entire series multiple times. There was a time where "an invisible" demon was involved. I say that because the demon was so flat/thin that he could turn side ways and appear invisible. Inuyasha could smell him.

As for invisible opponents, in the same episode with the super flat demon, Shippo and Madame Exorcist worked together and created invisibility charms. Shippo and Sango decided to test the charms out. Shippo thought it was a brilliant idea to use his invisibility to prank a sleeping Inuyasha. It wore off while Shippo was being a brat and Inuyasha did nothing to Shippo during this because he was wondering what Shippo was up to. When Shippo decided to shove food up Inuyasha's nose, only then did he do something to Shippo.

Also, Medio, the BFR, has SUCTION. Not even Naraku, someone who is arguably one of the strongest in both the manga and anime, could escape the suction. Speed does not matter. Medio sucks in anyone in its vicinity.
