It seems that Kai has been doing great, yeah? His overall kung fu mastery, on top of the literal army he can summon at any time, makes him seem nigh unstoppable to anyone within his tier. However, I may have found an opponent that may be able to match him, someone who has had the potential to do many unbelieveable things, and may just be able to get around the literal stone wall that is Kai. And it's a flippin' high school girl. So will the gag character be able to trump the rising star of 8-B? Or will the joke be on her instead? Today, we find out!

In the blue corner, we have Pipimi from Pop Team Epic, and in the red corner, we have Kai the Collector from Kung Fu Panda 3.

-This is a battle to the death or incapacitation. No holds barred.
-Neither character are aware of each other beforehand, and there is no prep time.

-Neither character are allowed any outside help, aside from Kai's Jombies.

-This fight takes place within the Spirit Realm, giving Kai the home-court advantage.

-I'm not restricting Pipimi's Self-Destruction, but if people deem it unfair, I'll restrict it later.

-Speed is equalized.

Huh, Kai's been getting a lot of usage recently. Dunno whether to be happy that KFP is getting more usage, or upset that the character being used is probably my 3rd least favourite in the verse.

Kai has the AP here (ignoring self-destruction), being far above 52 tons whereas Pipimi scales to pretty casual 39 tons. Kai obviously takes skill as well by a huge margin, as well as lifting strength. The fact that the battle takes place in the Spirit Realm is another big advantage for Kai, given its weird physics that Kai spent 500 years fighting under. She also doesn't seem to have a defence for absorption.

Invisibility, Possession and shapeshifting to get out of the chains restraint all seem like potential problems. If someone could say how they work along with Pipimi's battle mindset, that'd be great, cause none of the external links on her profile work. Self-destruction is also a problem cause lol High 6-B, but if she uses it, the match would be incon, and absorption should allow Kai to bypass.

I'm not sure if I have a defense for Pipimi at the moment, but I will say this about her. In most cases, she is extremely flexible in battle. You can literally plop her in any situation, and she'll most likely have a way of working with it, even more so than Popuko can. Plus, her Toon Force, Hammerspace, and even the Fourth Wall Manipulation and Awareness can work immensely in her favor. Heck, she could probably read the OP I created, see immediately what Kai is capable of since I kind of accidentally spelled it out, and is able to work with that, if I may be so bold as to say that's a possibility. Because she and Popuko have read and manipulated the scripts of their comics and show before, iirc.

She's a gag character for a reason. I just thought I'd point that out.

In all seriousness, I don't think we consider 4th wall breaking to be combat applicable here, especially not in the sense that she can read the OP of a vsbattle.

In all seriousness, though, I listed it as a possible example if it was allowed. Even without the cheat sheet from the OP I mentioned, her Toon Force and Hammerspace means she is packing a lot of heat for Kai. And this especially goes for the fact that she really favors firearms of all shapes and sizes.
 
How do the invisibility, shapeshifting and more notably the possession work?
 
I am not entirely sure, as it seems many of her feats come from the original manga and not the anime, which I watched. However, she has shown to transform into multiple objects in the anime without thought just to serve the purpose of a joke, so take that however you will.

Also, I'm getting someone who knows Pop Team Epic over here, because I am underinformed as heck.
 
He said he forgot most everything about where the powers came from, and the other guy I looked into was banned.

So...I don't know what to say. Just try to make a good case for one or the other with the information we have, atm, I suppose.
 
Without greater context, I want to say that Kai's far greater skill, greater AP and 500 years of experience in fighting in the Spirit World should give him a great upper hand. Self-Destruction would force an inconclusive, but idk how in-character that is.

Kinda uneasy making a vote right now, but leaning towards Kai.
 
It's more in-character for Popuko to self-destruct rather than Pipimi, tbh.
 
I vote Pipimi since she scales to a 39 ton feat fairly casually which isn't TOO big of a gap from 52 tons, this combined with her hammerspace and toon force and just....her general personality would make her extrmeely unpredictable. Also she has possession.

He absorbed the chi of Master Oogway and 'every kung fu master in China' bar Po and Tigress. Each master's chi he absorbs gives him a power boost.
