Sans probably just stabs his soul a lot which gets past that regen. He's quick enough to dodge most attacks from Peter I'm sure, and he can teleport away. After that it's just danmaku

First two season were the worst tho. They oblivioustly ripped off the Simpsons. And the characters didn't even have a strong role in the show back when. Everyone was not acting like themeselves yet and they were way too serious overall.

I much doubt he can ressurect from soul destruction. And adapting to it is even more of an assumption.
