This is gonna be a wild ride! In celebration of Frank West becoming 9-A, we're gonna set him up against Iggy, King of the Strays! So, time for some fun here. Fight takes place in Las Vegas, with Frank having all of the equipment he can use up to Dead Rising 4. He has an exo suit available with all upgrades at his disposal. Speed is equalized.

Frank West:

Iggy: 1

Inconclusive: 6

Looking through cutscenes he doesn't actually start with much to my knowledge because of the fact that there's not much fighting in cutscenes. It leaves that to general in game stuff.

Though if we compare to how he fought Snowflake the tiger, he should likely start out with something ranged. Getting close to the tiger is a bad idea I know that. This is a dog so I don't think Frank's gonna bash a dog with a baseball bat. Something ranged like a gun is probably his go to considering uh.

bashing a dog wouldn't be his first train of thought.

To see the fool? No likely not. I don't think he can see intangible things.

To get past the fool, however? Yes, I'd think so. Molotov cocktails, explosives, turrets he can drop, electric hammers with a little bit of AOE electricity damage, and some good old nitrogen combined with a gun could work to freeze iggy or anything in the surrounding area. Frank does have ranged flamethrowers as well and can set mines.

I feel like I'm missing something but that's quite a few ways.

>Sees that you've set this in Las Vegas, a desert.

>Stand made of sand that can go into the ground

This gives iggy something of an advantage here if you see my logic.

I was almost done writing a really long response before my iPad died ƒÿí

Anyway, basically I think it's an inconclusive. The Fool is a massive problem for West and Iggy uses his stand as both an offensive and defensive stand. Frank's range and more versatile Arsenal is gonna struggle to get past the fool, however I believe frank will be smart enough to realise something is guarding Iggy and will go for sneakier tactics to catch Iggy off guard because Frank is very good at this form of strategy. However, if Iggy gets close enough, the fool would kill West, so it's a matter of who does what first.

I'm voting for a incon. Solid match Jack

Counted your vote, Arsenal. Seems pretty solid.

I feel if I gave him his Dead Rising 4 Arsenal this match would be different, buuut

I didn't do it because he could just disintegrate Iggy or turn him into a Christmas ornament. I thought that was a bit more...not cool.

Frank would be waaaaaaaaaaay above 49 megajoules (Because no-selling missiles that do carbusting) to The Fool's 30

Speed equialized.

I think frank may get it through means through his natural skill and Luck. Even without 4. Melee with Military trained fighters, comparable to chuck who did the same, typically finds the stuff he needs, and his creative mind can turn what seems useless into stupid tough weapons. Like a flamethrower out of a water gun. He stood up for days iirc giving high stamina, and I think is far stronger and more durable

Frank via intelligence, Skills, quick thinking, arsenal, Strength; durability, stamina, and luck

not so much that it's be a stomp tho yeah? Like.

frank is hard to find a match for because we don't know how durable or strong he is

To be fair that's only one of his many reasons. Focusing on that one thing isn't gonna help and is more strawmaning than anything.

Not accusing you, just pointing out.

I dunno. This is also kinda assuming Iggy is gonna STAND (sorry) there and take it. If Iggy gets in close, I'm not sure if West can rank multiple clawed attacks from the fool for long. I'm still going incon because Frank has the intelligence and creativity to get at Iggy. But I feel like this should be addressed

Frank is 95 Megajoules via no-selling RPGs, while Iggy scales to Pet Shop's 432 Megajoules feat giving Iggy a 4.5x advantage in stats.

Iggy can create a fortress around himself to protect him from most of Frank's attacks (which Frank is unlikely to be able to destroy due to the power difference) or create decoys to distract him; there is also the fact that Frank cannot see or interact with The Fool, and if he comes within five meters, The Fool can deal massive damage due to the AP advantage.

Frank could take an invulnerability drink if he feels like he's gonna be in any kind of danger though. It makes him completely untouchable in this situation, and I doubt he'd let Iggy get close to him once he realizes that something is blocking his shot.

Should I allow DR4 weapons then?

Oh. Man. I didn't realize the AP was that high. I thought it was way more to Franks level. I'll have to rethink this if we add DR4. And change it too Iggy if we don't

Depends on what's going on at the moment. In specific situations, sure, totally. He did ask for a gun the moment he had the chance to so it's clear that it's a preferred method.

If he sees that something around the dog is blocking his shots though, he's definitely not gonna be alright with letting it get close to him.

Though seriously should I add DR4? Or maybe an exo suit?

Exo suit, which is so much more powerful than an RPG. Can comepletelt no sell hits from the RPG as a whole, making it useless.

As well as matter manipulation and transmutation.

Probably quite a bit smaller since they can shrug it off so easily.

So I should do it?

I'll go ahead and do it. Adding DR4. Arsenal's vote should basically be the same tho so that's fine.

Alright, Frank would probably still not be able to get past Iggy's sand defences that easily, but I can see them coming down after a few hits. We also can't underestimate Iggy, he can be a pretty good tactician if he needs to, specially with his sand decoys, and he should still hold a small AP advantage (not as much as before tho), althrough depending on how the Transmutation works, one good hit of that and Iggy is done for, and Frank still has the range advantage.

The transmutation just sorta works like.

Frank hits you with a ranged, magic wand.

You're now a Christmas ornament.

What's the starting range here, cause it seems range is dictating the winner right now.

Hmm. Well. Then I'll give it to frank if it starts with a decent range for him to keep Iggy back with.

The Fool can only go up to five meters, so Frank starts at an advantage. How likely is him to start with Transmutation?

Start with it? Probably not too likely.

If he noticed bullets and matter erasing projectiles aren't working? Much more likely.

I am starting to feel like inconclusive is a good option heh.
