To start things off, Blaze has the AP advantage with 4X Sentinel's own ap, oof.
However, Sentinel has the advantage on the skill set, because he is shown to be more skilled than the Bayverse OP, even when the OP attacked Sentinel when he was in his truck form, and Optimus Prime is a highly skilled character from what we've seen, his best skill feat is when he alone was able to hold himself against Megatron, Starscream and Grindor, killing Grindor, he was only killed when he stops to look for Sam and he was attacked in the back by Megatron. Sentinel is not only superior to that, but Optimus Prime didn't have his axe at the time, making he even more above that, there is also the fact that Sentinel is older than OP and Megatron, giving him alot of experience. While Blaze has yet to demonstrate good CQC skill in the comics, since she just used Fire for the most part, or i just didn't see she using CQC.
The range is kinda large, but Sentinel can try to lower the range with his vehicle mode and his Regenerationn, his regen is also really fast, healing some fatal wounds in less than a minute, so the combination of the two could clear the range in some time. While his Rust Cannon is not as ranged as Blaze, and she can fly to gain more distance, the Rust Cannon is a good dura negation, since some shots will spread Rust on Blazes, that will start to consume Blaze, considering her size, a single shot would likely be enough to disorient Blaze when she realizes that her clothes parts of her skin are turning orange and falling down,i have been in the internet for a long time to know where this is going, IYKWIM more shots would spread even more the Rust, though Blaze is smart enough to destroy his cannon before he can abuse more of the cannon, but i think that till there, the damage is already done and Blaze will have alot of complications due to the Rust, allowing Sentinel to engage CQC more easily and problaby having the advantage. His Regenerationn, as stated before, is fairly quick, and will help him outlast Blaze, and taking down a cybertronian in the movies is not that easy, since they can even survive decapitation, though they can't do nothing at that point, even damage into the spark they has shown to survive, and only the complete destruction or removal of the Spark or a damage into the Brain Module was able to kill a Cybertronian.
Anyway, i vote Sentinel for more experience, skill, a good dura negation skill and fast regen
