Well, that's the worst spite i have seen in this site. The worst on comicvine was *insert naruto character here* vs *inset tier 1 or above character here* Like seriously, there's actually a troll on comicvine with over 500 alts that does nothing but create threads like this.
 
Well if you go to Facebook's anime groups, you'll see guys arguing that *insert their favourite anime character(more frequently Naruto/bleach/ One piece)* can beat *insert a tier 3, 2 and 1 characters like Beerus, odin, TOAA, Galactus, IG Thanos and many more*
 
If ones from other sites count then Kirito vs Kami Tenchi. The guy who made it was joking, but people were legitimately arguing and voting for Kirito so…

I haven't seen it with One Piece characters as much, but there's small parts of Naruto and Bleach's fanbases that are convinced that their favorite characters can beat anyone. I mean, things like Pain or Itachi vs Fiamma, Itachi vs Beerus/*insert random Cosmic Entity here*, Aizen or Kaguya vs Othinus or Thanos. I saw a guy once irl claim that Luffy could beat pre-headshot Accel, though, that was fun.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I once saw a potterverse vs toaruverse, that's probably one of the most ridiculous I've ever seen.
 
Kirito vs Megaman.EXE was pretty bad. The worse part is most people went with Kirito and told me that Megaman.EXE MFTL+, Universal feats aren't valid because he's...digital. I don't get it either..

Wally West vs Thought Robot/Cosmic Armor Superman was pretty hilarious too.

"It's digital" is a very common downplay argument for Mega Man Battle Network, as well as Digimon.
 
I once saw a Beerus Vs. Naruto thread on Moviecodec lol.

I also remember a hilarious spite thread, I think it was Nappa in a pickup truck Vs. Naruto-verse.
