Academy City vs Real life World

Who wins, science side only, pre-revival Kakine, accelerator can only use his power for 15 mins (battery limit) before recharging. Accelerator cannot borrow the Earth's rotational momentum. Accelerator cannot awaken.

No knowledge

300 km portal opens in the pacific connecting index and real life earth

Aleister is allow to command but not fight himself.

Conditions for winining: destroying the other side or forcing them to surrender.

I do not think they will have trouble .

Even nukes are iffy at best because Accel can just chill in Academy City and intercept them them when they come, they have anti-missile weapons, etc

Also, Gunha is frightening because he can possibly tank a nuke. Dropping him and some of the other level fives in a country would generate a large killzone.

I forgot about Fuze Kazikiri. Still, Accel only has 15 minutes of time, not to mention the real world can fire dummies. I know Academy city was able to intercept Russia's ICBM missiles but the chance of a nuclear attack hitting academy city isn't zero.

Not just FUZE, Rensa is present as well, who has all of the powers of the level fives. You said Accel has 15 minutes of time before he has to recharge, which is fine but if he stays in Academy City he can quickly recharge each time.

The problem with this fight is that academy city has characters that are just too strong/durable in realistic terms and also can adapt very well to scientific threats, which is the only real threat the world can pose. Canonically, Aacdemy City is 30 years ahead of the current world, so technology wise they are screwed. Not to mention the thousands of upper level espers that could be recruited into a brutal military.

AC has black hole bombs and orbital lasers, this match is a massive stomp in their favor ^_^

AC easily. WWIII made a point on them stomping a Russia ready to engage in nuclear war and use biological weapons, while they still tried to fight without causing causalitys among the russians.

And that was before developing even further and without using espers in battle.

The best chance the world has against AC is hoping that they run out of resources while conquering the world.

Academy City would stomp with their normal military thanks to powered suits like the Railgun Five Overs and a very superior air force with HsBs and HsFs, it would be AC vs Russia in WWIII all over again. Adding espers like Level 5s, Rensa or Fuze Kazakiri is overkill, and limiting Accel's power is a bit pointless when Rensa can use it as long as she wants and also pull out the wings.

Also, I don't think the real world has any reasonable chances of succesfully using nukes against AC when this is a thing.

VERY old thread I know but... The only chance that countries have is to join forces in a kind of global coalition. And even then, AC has a wayyy superior military capable of stomping Russia without taking any losses until Gabriel came, and countries will still have to deal with monsters such as Level 5 (even excluding Angelerator), Rensa and Kazakiri.
