As the snowmobile growled to a stop near the top of a ridge, the rider, a man wrapped head to toe in heavy winter gear, stepped off and crawled the rest of the way to the top attempting to get a view of the base down below. The man, a one James Bond, pulled out a pair of thermal binoculars and sighted them on the base. He couldn't see any heat signitures outside, which he thought was odd, but considering the raging blizzard outside and the isolated nature of the base it was at least possible the people inside had decided to forgo leaving men on active watch outside. The base, run by a newly formed anarcist group, was located deep in the arctic circle and far away from all other human habitation, and according to the infromation obtained from a captured member, used to house and test a new biological weapon. Bond's mission was to infiltrate the facility, destroy all traces of the weapon and assinate the leader's of the group, all of which had gathered in the base earlier in the week to oversee the final testing phase before releasing the weapon onto the unsupecting public. Sneaking through the now three feet deep snow, Bond managed to get up to the building seemingly without incident and made his way towards the nearest door. As Bond approached the door, he noticed something odd. It had been left ajar and no light could be seen spilling out from inside. Bond sidled up to the side of the door, redied his weapon and slowly pushed it open, but nothing happened. As he glanced inside all he saw was a hallway extending into darkness. As he entered the hallway, Bond shed his bulky winter gear leaving only his signiture suit, he noticed a doorway leading into a side room. Inside the room were about a dozen flamethrowers and many fuel canisters. Further inside he comes across a scene of destruction. Someone recently flamebroiled a half a dozen people in a small room leaving no scrap of flesh unburnt. As Bond backs out of the room he notices a flickering light down the hall. It turns out to be a computer screen with a message displayed. It describes something horrible, with a leathal touch and that must be completely incenerated to ensure it's destruction. |
