400 something Megatons, above 1 Gigaton with Nine Lives.

Nine Lives doesn't protect against anything, its Herc's one tech fits all attack which lets him attack with any weapon to its max ability via pure skill, hitting way harder than he normally does because he is just that good. It also doesn't matter as Nine Lives is restricted due to his class being Berserker.

The thing that protects him is God Hand which requires attacks to be A rank and up to harm him. A rank is treated as 385 so Akuma can bypass but Herc has 11 spare lives and thus must be killed 12 times in total. Each time he dies to something, he pulls a Doomsday and becomes far more resistant to it. Word of God says an attack we have at Baseline High 7-A can only kill Herc twice before it can no longer affect him.

>Nine Lives doesn't work when he's berserker

... Then why the fork is it on his profile listed as AP

Wouldn't he just outright die if Akuma destroyed his soul?

God Hand hasn't shown to have the ability to revive him from soul destruction or else he'd be mid godly with it I believe.

@Xtas

12 times as in 1 by beating him to death with your body, another if you are strong enough, using separate weapons counts as different ways even if they are both swords.

@DMUA

Because he technically has it but is unable to use it. It was included in his profile in the visual novel and was even copied by Shirou in Heaven's Feel but Herc doesn't have the motor control to pull it off. Make him sane and he would go to town with it.

@Aguila

I dunno. Resurrection doesn't have types like mid godly. Assuming it does kill Berserker permanently, how likely is Akuma to use it and are there any requirements like a specific tech etc?

i'm just wondering like aguila about the RD. The moment akuma sees his opening he will use it due to morals off so would that be instant kill or god hand muh revive somehow. And how many lives are taken if so. Idk if it helps but the sins of the person make the impact more deadly and painful iirc

teleport which can phase through attacks somewhat is a property of the RD tbf so he could do it just as berserker is swinging

Servants themselves are mostly spiritual anyway so it doesn't seem like much of a stretch anyway. If you are referring to their core then I'm not sure

God Hand is a conceptual NP. It brings Herc back from death, and "death" to Servants is soul destruction (the destruction of their spiritual core) since they're basically materialized souls and all of their attacks count as soul damage.

Voting for Herc.

I fail to see the reason why you're voting Herc when

1. You haven't explained how Herc wins, only that he can survive, which alone doesn't gurantee victory

2. I'm not even sure if he can damage Akuma given the gap

3. If he can this is a stomp as Akuma can't kill him

It's a bad match either way and voting is pointless.

This isn't base Akuma though

This is Oni Akuma

The one that's commented as being a god by comparison to a human when compared to Base or Shin Akuma

Ignoring that Akuma's feat was casual while Berzerker deflecting Excalibur wasn't

Point. But what if we use FGO Herc instead? Bridges the gap in AP by unrestricting Nine Lives while weakening God Hand enough that Akuma can maybe conceivably kill him.

@Aguila

Literally every time he's killed. Servants are materialized souls. Their attacks are soul damage. When a Servant kills another Servant, it's soul destruction by nature. Herc comes back when he's killed as a Servant. Therefore, he comes back from having his soul destroyed.

Nowhere is it stated that their soul is recieving damage at all, their "physical" form is stated to be simply a vessel, not their materialized soul.

Edit: And this doesn't seem to be an actual accepted thing to begin with, otherwise every servant would have soul destruction (not just soul absorbtion) as a an ability and Berserker's resurrection would be noted to work on his soul in their respective profiles.

I'd argue that since Servants being spirits is the whole reasoning for their 'immunity' to mundane weapons, that at the very least their spiritual cores are explicitly spiritual and not physical. Even if that isn't the case, Servants still have notable resistance to soul damage, due to tanking Dantes' soul-burning flames like any other attack while the same flames completely erased Roa's eternally resurrecting soul.

Oni Akuma has multiple soul destroying attacks (Raging Demon, Wrath of the Raging Demon, Airborne Raging Demon and Misogi), so he can take out all of his lives with those and his normal attacks. I vote Akuma.

I'd say that with only 4 ways to kill Herc aside from normal moves, Herc would still avoid being put down.

God Hand is a massive boon in Herc's favor, and I don't think Akuma can overcome it, even in his Oni form.
