At this point you can expect most of the vs matches I cook up from now on be SAO matches.

Kirito

vs

A Giant (The Elder Scrolls)

Rules:

  • Speed equalized.
  • SAO Avatar Kirito vs a random giant just roaming around Skyrim.
  • In-character.
  • Win by death.
  • The battle takes place out on the fields of Skyrim near Whiterun.

In case of the giant he is 2 and something tons, nearly baseline.

Kirito is >>>>>>> baseline as far as i can tell, don't know much about this guy. Correct me if i am wrong

Kirito's pros

  • An arsenal of various abilities
  • Better range with some skills
  • Has Regenerationn
  • AP advantage (?)
  • Better speed if speed equalization doesn't cover sword skills speed amp
Kirito's cons

  • I think none?
Giant's pros

  • Can keep up distance with the shockwaves, depending on how big these are
  • Can stun Kirito if it gets in his way since it's an small opponent (?)
Giant's cons

  • Weaker than Kirito AP wise
  • His large size makes him an easy target
  • Only uses the strategy of "punch it till it dies"
Yeah, Kirito surely has a big advantage here.
 
This is as one-sided as it gets. The giant has no skill, it's attacks are predictible, it can only make a shockwave for a meter or so, and it's size is just a negative here

Kirito could litirally tie his hands behind his back and still win with relative ease.
 
Is this the Ancient Giant or normal Giant?

The Ancient Giant is bigger than mountains and blots the sky. Crazier than Ancient Giants are Atmoran Giants as big as a island or even a continent. One stomp on the ground by that type of giant can cause an earthquake as I can imagine.
 
Huh... what if I change this to Gleam Eyes if this is too one sided? Or a humanoid Skyrim character?

I'll make changes tomorrow. Going to bed for now.

TFW this is literally something that happened with SAO Tabletop

Gergy, my character, got jumped by a bunch of guys who thought he was a Player killer (due to him ending up getting a red crystal, in irony, killong a player killer), he literally wrapped his hands behind his bsck and started kicking their teeth in with Martial arts using purely his feat

Okay, they did get a birage of Sword Skills on him, but that was followed up by Gergy proceeding to use the chains around his hands to grab the sword of the leader of the group, and then punting the thing all the way to the top of the floor.

Needless to say it was awesome

Has little to do with this match, but said match is kinda onesided anyways, as is Gleam Eyes considering he too just beats the Giant down with sheer AP

Though I'm pretty sure 99% of it is the auto targeting in SAO rather then my character's actual talent
 
Giant: is several tiers above Kirito, could probably one or two shot him.

Kirito: Is insanely faster, could use Photon Sword/Excalibur combo (Photon does ridiculous damage, and Excalibur makes him quicker than Yuuki, who is massively quicker than a bullet), fly around the giant, use his illusion magic to confuse the giant, and is a much better fighter.


Kirito has a lot more going for him, so I vote for him.
 
How is this not a stomp? I know they have equal ap but Kirito has literally every other advantage; are skill stomps not a thing because the gaint is literally a big guy wielding a stick (which is why I love them, but seriously it's never going to win a match (hell Aela can literally never win a match, much less the gaint)). I'm just saying this doesn't really seem like a "Notable Victory" when all Kirito has to do is not stand still and he wins.

Like if I put a Knight vs a big guy with a stick, and knight stabs the big guy through the eye instantly killing them. I don't say "that was an epic fight", I would say "man that big guy didn't stand a chance". Which is pretty much what happens here, but worse since Kirito has the lifting strength advantage so the biggness of the gaint is completely pointless (and Kirito can regenerate).
 
Honestly an ES Giant is something I wouldn't bat an eye seeing Kirito fighting in canon.

Two of the votes you are counting are votes for it being a stomp. Also apparently Kirito one shots baselines, which is what the gaint is.
