Misaka Mikoto vs David MacAvoy

He used it twice in an applicable manner throughout the four books. He can't move in his own stopped time but he can think and speak while everyone else is unable to do either.

Being that she is a Glass Cannon it's who hits first, Im wondering who does

So typically his go-to thing against someone who is or at least appears to be human is the freeze-in-place spell or the one that makes them flee.

What is usually David's first move?

Btw, Aureolus would be a much better opponent for him, since both have pretty much the same power.

Hundreds of meters and however long it takes to say "Ret-ma dood" or "Lom-ma dood"
Voting David via striking forst^

the spell to freeze the target in place does not seem to be useful since mikoto can move by actively manipulating his bio-electricity as to the spell to make the target flee I'm not sure but it would probably work.

going by what the page says, only his spell that copies the heat from the sun is 8A, and some of his spells ignore durability, but I do not know how any of those things would affect what I said.

Where are you getting that from? It simply shots up to 8A with Vagran spells

Misaka can't break herself out of getting Flash frozen due to her durability

No it's me pointing out a typo

David seems to have a bit more here. In particular with that spell that will cause Misaka to flee. I'll side with him for that as well as FRA.

Wouldn't Misaka simply take him out with a non-lethal electricity shock before he finishes his verbal incantation?

Also freezing her in place isn't going to do much to her, I believe. On one hand because she possibly could move herself via magnetism and on the other because she can fight while standing still, against an opponent of equal speed.

I see. Well, in the end this is who gets off an attack first then.

A thought based ability should have an edge over a verbal activation, in terms of activation order.

How far apart are they though? Said thought based ability can sill be dodged while he's speaking, and it's not as though it'll take a whole minute or something for him to finish the incantation. Three syllables is pretty quick if what was mentioned above is indeed correct.

Do we speed equalize real lightning?

'cause if Misaka's lightning works like normal neither of the two are fast enough to dodge it.

I guess it usually would be equalized.

Reminds me of a speed equal fight between more or less normal human gunma, where the question also came up and everyone just agreed that for the fight it was stupid to assume that the fighters can not run along with their bullets, as it would pretty much ruin the fighting scenario to assume that.

Anyways, as long as we assume that Misaka's attacks have the speed of a running human, she definitely loses.

She will be unable to hit with anything, except it is due to suprise, attacks from multiple directions or close range. In turn David's attacks are instant and basically undodgeable, meaning he can finish her from range long before her attacks can reach him.

Even the fact that she technically outranges him by a kilometer or so doesn't really help, as her attacks will literally require several minutes to cross the distance making dodging no problem.
