9-C Tournament: The Player (Death Road to Canada) vs. Reki

Starting up the next fight in our tournament, after an exciting start, we're going to cover a gunfight taking place in the zombie apocalypse! In one corner, we have our Player character from the indie game Death Road to Canada, and in the other corner, we have Reki , the sniping ace from Hidan no Aria. Reki will be given all of her basic equipment (which includes her bullet proof vest so she can, y'know, survive a shot) while the player is given a rifle, a pistol and a baseball bat.

The combatants start 15 meters apart and behind cover. They're both aware of where the other is. Speed is equalized.

Until someone can clarify how good this pixel dude is with trickshots, Reki wipes him with sniping so good that she can ricochet her bullets to move at corners, shoot a moving dog so cleanly that it grazed the back of its nape just enough to pacify it, and get out of cover, aim and shoot, then move back to cover, in the time it took for a bullet to cross that distance.

Oh, wow, well then.

Should I decrease the distance a little bit then? From what I remember trick shorting really isn't a thing in DRTC. It depends on your gun skills, but most of the time yeah you're gonna take a whole to aim.

Oh, however bullets can bounce off walls with a high enough gun skill and it takes less time to reload. The playernisnt a trained sniper in most ocassions but they know how to use a gun pretty well.

Yeah, fair enough. This should be good enough then. The skill difference just really tips these scales though.

Reki do not seems very versatile, how good is she in marksmanship to defeat the Player before it gets into close combat?

I see, so her skill is like the big deal. This is Street tournament so one bullet in the right placenis fatal, guess she take this battle.

Alright that's two for her.

I cant add a tally to the OP at the moment because I'm busy but I will later.

Even if the distance is too short for proper sniping Reki's skill should still take this given her skill in shooting and bayonet usage.

If a shot doesn't proof lethal she can always incapacitate by hitting a nerve center or something. But in this case hitting an eye or similar should easily do the trick.

Edit: That she gets Haimaki as equipment makes her even more dangerous in close combat and gives her more options to fire save shots at the opponent.

Her ricochet shots also mean that cover is gonna be a lot less useful for her opponent than for her. I agree that Reki takes this.

I don't think it'd be a stomp if I limit a couple of things. Maybe limit the weapons a little. Limit the distance so that the guns don't work as well or something. I'll think of it don't worry.

Either way Huesito did you ever give an official vote?

It's decisive, not stomp. Without a bayonet at the very least, Reki's not particularly special. That said, she has a gun.

Should we proceed? Considering that Huesito considered a lost for Stan because of Reki I think it counts as a vote (or a surrender).

Why didn't anyone tell me of this.

Canada guy gets shot once, dives for cover, and sneaks around for a CQC kill.

He is fairly good at sneaking, but dunno if it beats out Reki's ability to detect and trickshot him.

Sorry, I thought you'd be keeping track of the tournament thingy. Heh...

you want this to stay open for a little while longer?

... rip me for not reading the OP

if they're that close, then the Player just does something like this to her: forking my scans are out of order give me a second

So...you're giving an argument on behalf of the player yeah?

if so then I guess this can be left open for a little while longer

Yeah, I kinda need to get to my computer... If I even got the screenshot I'm thinking of

Well, okay, I've given up the search for that specific screenshot, but basically, in one of the events where bandits ask for all your weapons, if you have a guy with a high shooting skill, you'll be able to have them just kinda blitz them and shoot all of their weapons, shattering them before they can even move.

They can also do this

So, Reki definitely has them outmatched in sheer shooting skill, but they're definitely good enough to pull a ricochet and blow their head off to retort.

Either that or they could just straight up pick up their cover and throw it at her, flushing her out wide open for a clean shot. Or just outright killing her as she gets hit in the face with it. Either works.

As Gemmysaur said, Reki is the best marksman in a school including a guy that can do this. So she has no problem pulling that feat of. Heck, she can make her bullet ricochet twice and shoot their trigger finger off. Blitzing can of course not happen in a speed equal match.

Shooting a few tires is hardly an impressive feat when against Reki. Actually shooting tires isn't that impressive in general. I don't see how you get the idea from that the player is good enough to land a ricochet from either of those feats.

Depends on what the cover is. If it is grounded or too heavy this won't work.

Even if it does, a 15 meter throw is easy to dodge. And while Reki has 2 covers close to her after that the player is completly in the open following the throw.

Not to mention that the moment he picks up the cover to throw it he would expose himself and hence instantly be riddled with holes.

This guy is able to throw tables, Toilets, and even refrigerators quite aways away, so.

Alright... Reki can shoot good, but can she shoot fast? She is a sniper, and speed usually isn't a specialty for those types.

She can get out of cover, shoot an opponent 2 km away and get into cover in a timeframe less than what the opponents bullet would require to cross the distance between them.

And at 15m distance she can noscope, so...

Edit: That said, I don't think it will come to any complicated scenario. Reki will fire once and the bullet will hit the player in a lethal spot, like the eye socket or nerve center. The fight is over after the first move.

.... Is this actually fair enough to add to the profiles in that case?

I don't think it is.

Actually, even better question, is this girl even fair for this tourney?
