Thomas The Tank Engine vs. Weeping Angel

Okay, so I've heard that Thomas is deemed the "completely pathetic trashbag" of this here community, having literally no wins whatsoever. It may be my first few days residing here, but I think I've done it... I've found a fight that Thomas could actually win.

Angel starts on the tracks

Starting distance is 20 meters

Thomas The Tank Engine (7): StarterPack, Torlikoff, Dargo Faust, Sir Ovens, PsychoWarper, Jackythejack, and Asuka the Demon Empress

Weeping Angel (0):

If train doesn't blink he just runs over a statue, though I'm not sure if the angel could tank it or not.

Well depends on which Thomas we are utilizing, are we talking of the traditionally animated Thomas? The one of which could blink NOT? If we are talking of Digitally animated Thomas, then there is indeed a possibility of Thomas incurring loss.

I suppose so, but considering how shows tend to change hands (and my inability to find an interview regarding it,) it is likely that we'll never know the original intent of the first creative director.

So yeah, blinking is canonical! Although I wonder his blink to nonblink ratio is. If we can successfully figure out how many times Thomas blinks per digitally animated episode and the duration OF these blinks. We could perhaps figure out as to if he would blink before he could run over the Weeping Angel.

I mean that depends on if Thomas blinks or not.

If he blinks then it's either inconclusive or Thomas dies, and if he doesn't...the statue will just get run over.

I was going to do a rewatch of the 3D animated Thomas series in order to calculate his blink-to-nonblink ratio in order to determine the likelyhood of him blinking prior to ramming into the Weeping Angel, but I watch three seasons worth of it before giving up.

Besides cannot the Weeping Angel only move towards entities of which blink at them? Meaning that unless someone were to intervene in the fight, the Weeping Angel would just automatically move towards Thomas @Sigurd Snake in The Eye?

Does he start at full speed?

Thomas starts at nonmovement, and has 20 meters worth of track before collision with the Weeping Angel, assuming they could accelerate to a point in which he could shatter the Weeping Angel...

He would still weigh enough to knock down and crush the statue. Thing is, he probably blinks before that if he starts stopped, as 20m is like 70 feet and he takes some time to get up to speed. What degree of superhuman speed is the weeping angel?

They're superhuman when not looked at, like when blinking.

The thought of Thomas the mofoking tank engine ramming into something with his signature smiling face creeps me out for some reason.

Thomas Tank Engine 1
Thomas for the reasons above.

Funnily enough, I was actually planning a Thomas fight sometime soon...

The thing is, this really needs to be clarified on whether or not Thomas is at full speed or not. If he is, great, Thomas FRA. If not, then Thomas may end up blinking beforehand and end up getting time-jacked by the Weeping Angel. (Or, at least, the Angel gets off the tracks and can't get hit.) Which means that the reasoning Jacky gave would be true, meaning either Inconclusive or Angel FRA.

So, can't really confidently vote unless I'm told what exactly is happening here.

He bears twenty meters (starting at TOP SPEED) to accelerate before collision with the Weeping Angel, which should give him enough time to accelerate to a point of which just RUPTURES that little stone degenerate.

Then yeah, Thomas FRA. I'll give him my vote now since it's been specified.
