Konosuba: Tier 7 humans and other revisions.

It sounds ridiculous, but the random background characters have quite a few Tier 7 feats.

First off, Axel's adventurers were able to fight and injure Hoost, a Low 7-B. And when he was reduced to half his strength, a single team was able to stand up to him and take his attacks, though they were losing. This guy had to be significantly weakened and injured for Megumin to be able to kill him with her Explosion, so his durability is quite good. He had his wing chopped off by Kyouya and was forced to block another guy's sword, so humans' AP, SS and durability should scale.

Secondly, a bunch of mages firing together were able to damage the Kowloon Hydra which could withstand Megumin's explosion which by this point is 7-B. Mages and warriors brawl fairly regularly, so the warriors' power must be comparable as well. And the royal knights were capable of dealing with the hydra every 10 years when it came out of hibernation as well.

Third, Claire was able to cut through 7-B Darkness' skin and muscle. Beldia, a Low 7-B, had to exert significant effort just to cut through the skin of a much weaker Darkness. This isn't an outlier for Claire since they're somewhat like rivals and have an even fight in one of the short stories. She's comparable to knights and afraid of taking on multiple at the same time.

Fourth, Wolbach, the series' strongest 7-B, was forced to retreat when faced with a large number of adventurers.

Finally, Vanir, a 7-A, was able to blow away a whole squadron of knights with a casual wave of his hand. This is consistent with them being around Low 7-B to 7-B, if they were truly Tier 10 every villain in the series would be able to do this.

Kind of sucks that no one responds to these. Anyway, I've written up a summary of how the verse works for the verse page, tell me if there's anything to add:

Resistances:

In Konosuba, leveling up increases all stats including resistances, in other words people at the same tier of power will generally have the same level of resistance. There are exceptions in that certain races such as Liches and Devils are noted to have exceptional resistance, there are also artifacts that provide resistance as well.

Resistance encompasses most magical abilities as well as natural phenomena such as heat. Most of these are generally grouped together under resistance to status effect inducement, this includes power nullification. If a character specifically has resistance to power nullification listed on their profile, it means their resistance is extremely high.

There are two types of power nullification: One prevents the target from using abilities, and the second nullifies abilities that are being charged or that have already been cast, this second type seems to be based on the strength of the ability itself and thus ignores resistance.

Magic:

Magicians can usually access only half their power without a staff. Their power can be further enhanced by customizing their staves, for instance, Megumin's manatite staff further increases her spellpower by about 12%. High grade manatite is much more expensive and powerful, so mages with staves could be considered well over 2.24x stronger.

There are two default abilities almost everyone in the verse has: Power Mimicry and Partial Soul Absorption. Power Mimicry essentially allows one to learn skills they see as long as their class allows it, EXP comes from the souls of slain enemies hence the partial soul absorption. There are characters who could fully take a person's soul, but this has never been shown in combat.

Races:

There are certain races that possess special traits, such as undeads which are stated to never tire. The most important ones are Liches and Devils:

Liches: They are invulnerable to physical damage and have high magical resistance. They are implied to be immune to status effects in the novels and outright stated to be immune in secondary material. They can inflict status effects and curses on contact and can also drain a person's life and energy. They have infinite lifespans and can survive in a skeletal state, and can potentially also recover from getting reduced to ashes though this only occurred once in a scene that may not have been serious.

Devils: Their true bodies always remain in hell, they create and possess fake bodies when they appear in the mortal realm. They are extremely hard to kill as they can come back with their extra lives, and destroying them in the mortal realm doesn't truly defeat them either since their true self remains in hell. In addition, top class devils like Vanir can revive instantly even after having their soul destroyed.

Kazuma should scale to Claire because Vol 11. Also if Vanir and the soul Destruction is true, Aqua should be able to bypass Mid-Godly. At least against the devils and stuff.

These are the lines pertaining to the ashes thing, would this qualify for Mid-High?

"Today, in front of this pile of ashen substance, Moi went insane.

Until moments ago, the pile of ashen substance was the owner of this store.

-

The substance that was once the owner of this store spoke to Moi, whose face was covered in Moi palm.

-

This pile who was still speaking nonsense, was a lich ― the top-class undead, and was also the magic item store owner Wiz.

-

Wiz, who had now fully recovered, clumsily stood up and said."

The animator suffered a fatal heart attack

Yeah. She's a bitch. And also Mid-Godly bypass is just for Goddess one for obvious reasons. They're being prayed and her water can exorcise the Demon to death. She can't bypass even low-godly in mortal as seen in Vol 13.

And also just downright Resistance Negation as well for bypassing that one demon general's magic resistance with brute Force.

It seems all the undeads' stamina has been changed from limitless to extremely high. I'll be changing them back, this is the statement it comes from:

"… Hey, you there! If I get serious, I could kill every single person in this town! Don't think I'll keep letting you off! As an undead, I won't ever tire! You bunch of rookies won't be able to even scratch me!"

Kazuma's page is going to need a pretty big overhaul, I'll handle that personally.

For now, do you recall a statement in the LN about Wiz being immune to status effects? I know it's stated in a Drama CD but I don't remember a direct statement from the novels.

Well, it's already stated that she has extremely high resistance so I guess it doesn't matter that much.

Kazuma should be scaled to other party members I think. Also He has reactions to act before Wolbach can catch him in Vol. 9.

He scales to Wolbach. He was able to create explosion before Wolbach can react. He should be also comparable to Aqua.

Also yeah, in Vol 14, Vanir said that he turned Wiz into bunch of carbon atoms. We know she's going to come back. High?
