So,Frieza jumped from high5A (1,7 Tenatons) to Star Level in his Final Form (150 tenatons baseline),from just powering up.

Is that even right?

>Casually done with a finger

His High 5-A feat is done by gathering his ki to blow up the planet.

On a chair while laughing maniacally and performed by no more than a finger flick and large ki with no signs of exhaustion at all

Agreed. Our current scaling for Dragon Ball is atrocious. I'll get into that later.

I think 4-C comes from Freeza being superior to kaiokenx20 Goku who is superior to third form Freeza who is superior to Nailccolo who is superior to 2nd form Freeza who is superior to first form freeza who can effortlessly perform a dwarf star feat. There's at least a x20 in there

Edit: yeah freeza's High 5-A is ludicrously close to Low 4-C and I'm pretty sure stomping requires at minimum a 2x difference between you and your opponent.

Dragon Ball never had any "minimum" stomping gap. It has been as low as 10% and as high as 2x.

100% Frieza was more than 40x stronger than base Goku, evident by how he overpowered a KKx20 kamehameha while at 50%.

Base Goku > Suppressed Final form Freeza > Third Form > Piccolo > Second Form > First Form > The casual High 5-A feat.

No opinion here, just quoting this:

  • Given that the only explicit gauges that we have to scale the tiers by are from Frieza's first form, and Super Perfect Cell, we had to estimate roughly where in-between that all of the characters would fit during these time periods, as this was the least bad available option. We have spent a massive amount of time arguing about this, and are not willing to waste any more further rearranging the statistics.

Off the top of my head: Ever, Ant, Matt and Cal have mentioned not trusting the DB scaling in the past.

Of course, their input here would be more solid than me potentially putting words in their mouths.

To an extent you can count me as well.

No huge issues with upscaling on my part, but backscaling via being between two characters is something that I never saw for any other series

I don't mind looking back at the profiles. Tbh, I have never cross-checked the in-between ratings of DBZ characters myself. I thought Promestein and Dark were the ones who went through most of the trouble to stabilize those ratings.

But is it really that crazy for DB? These characters suppress themselves to absurd degrees and this is shown in virtually all DB related media with a storyline.

Kefla

There is no ">".

Both are important and need to be taken into account.

Unless you want to say that literally everyone before SPC is "At least High 5-A"

There is indeed a hierarchy. Feats surpass statements, and so on, as a general guideline.

So Low 4-C DBZ god tiers? That's the best feat that you will find.

Guidelines exist, but you still need to analyze case by case.

It's fine as a rule of thumb but again, both are important

Never said that.

That, and the context of what I said didn't have anything to do with this discussion. It was about Pachi comparing Kefla, who has feats, with Freeza, who only has upwards scaling.

Oh, no, no. My dood, I wasnt comparing them. Its just that the OP states that frieza went from high 5-A to 4-C "by powering up". Kefla was an example of something crazier "by powering up". Im aware kefla has feats and her rating is legit.

Kelfa could fight Goku,Cabba and many others 3As.Her case is different. I saw verse where characters have hierarchy of superiorty but their tier is still not changing. And here frieza jumped from 1,7 tenatons to 150 at minimum just by powering up.

^I don't agree with low2C DBS (except Zamasu,Zeno).

╠ÂA╠Âl╠Âs╠Âo╠ ╠Âi╠ ╠Âa╠Âm╠ ╠Âa╠Âg╠Âa╠Âi╠Ân╠Âs╠Ât╠ ╠Â3╠Â-╠ÂA╠ ╠ÂD╠ÂB╠ÂS╠Â,╠Âl╠Âo╠Âl╠Â.╠Â.

We should also get to fix the Z Anime characters ratings [Ex: Cooler Squadron and etc.], i personally think that the + on Goku, Vegeta and Frieza profiles should be removed because even if i tried to highball them, they don't get there. I'm willing to help Kep about this.

Well, you're wrong. DBS has been universal since BoG.

That said, I don't see why 4-C isn't correct for Final Form Freeza, when he performed his previous High 5-A feat while sitting down, with no signs of strain or exhaustion, in his weakest form.

He then proceeds to jump in power by a lot--I know the Daizenshuu/power level numbers aren't always accepted here, but his power level was 500,000 in first form at full power, and then above 100 million at 100% final form.

There is no "+" on Freeza's profile.

@Korudo Daio

"That said, I don't see why 4-C isn't correct for Final Form Freeza, when he performed his previous High 5-A feat while sitting down, with no signs of strain or exhaustion, in his weakest form."

Because there is a difference between 1,7 and 150.

Frieza gathered energy with his finger to create a giant energy ball.It does not matter what pose he had when he performed the feat. And power levels are not liner and correct.Frieza is at most small star level with his final form and everyone scales from him.

The difference between 1.7 tenatons and 150 is only a difference of 88.2x. Considering the vast difference between first and final form Freeza, and how, again, that Freeza's 1.7 tenaton feat was performed without any signs of strain/stress or exhaustion, I still don't see how that's out of place. Could you explain exactly why that's ludicrous?

I'm always opposed to upward scaling. Especially when we have no idea how much effort Frieza put into Supernova. He was laughing the same way with Death Ball and that wasn't casual at all.

Which one? The one he tried to do just before the Spirit Bomb hit him, which he never even finished? There's no way that feat (the Planet Vegeta-busting one) wasn't casual--there would have been more obvious signs of strain or building up power if not, based on other displays of power in the show.

@Cal: 88.2x is not that crazy huge of a gap for any verse with feats like this, IMO. If this were Thor or Discord or Arceus we were talking about, no one would be batting an eye.
