Samus Aran vs Kratos

Since when did Kratos become 5-B? I see no key on his profile.

He's not, he just has a broken resurrection that makes him compete with those stronger than him. Though I would say Dark Samus would be a better opponent for Kratos than Samus.

Pretty sure Samus still stomps. She still got far superior range, can destroy Kratos's Soul (Which nullifies Resurrection), freeze him at Nigh-AZ Ice Beam (Which counts as Incapacitation), ect.

Kratos ain't resurrecting from a freezy freeze. Also, soul bust, as DDM said. So female Birdperson wins fra.

well kratos resist to power null and soul manipulation. So I'll wait for kep.

Doesn't change the fact that their are different levels of those abilities. Kratos never resisted Absolute Zero, and his soul would be frozen inside his body. Also, you have to combine two facts; one, Samus has potent matter manipulation and she can kill ghosts. Put those together, and you got Samus being able to destroy bodies and souls at once. One Power Bomb is a planet busting bomb that atomizes multiple Tallon Metroids, and those same power bombs also kill ghosts. Kratos may have resisted basic Soul manipulation, at least much lower level than Samus's, but that's not enough from total soul destruction. Samus killed Phantoo and Gorea, who's Intangible statuses are way above any of the GoW gods.

Kep may comment here, but SD may also back me up, and perhaps correct a few of my misunderstandings, but otherwise still prove my point.

I'll really rather avoid vs threads, the info DarkDragon said is correct, but personally I still don't agree with the current soul destruction standards. Speaking of which, it would also mean dark Samus Regen would have to be upgraded to mid godly (again don't agree, but feel like it has to be pointed out)

Completely killing a ghost is defined Soul Destruction, defeating a ghost and sending them to the afterlife would still be some form of Soul Restoration. And also, wouldn't harming characters with Spatial Intangibility count as some form of Spatial manipulation by that same logic though?

Correction: Samus can destroy a disembodied ghost (IIRC), not a soul which is inside a body. She isn't nullifying Resurrection via that.

If you can destroy a body and a soul simultaneously with one attack, it I'm positive it counts as destroying a soul contained in a body or negating Low-Godly regen.

Did Samus destroy a disembodied ghost or did she destroy someone's soul while it was inside their body?

The former isn't useful in this fight

yes, with the wave beam, which not only attacks souls, but bypasses through many things.

Metroid isn't a jellyfish, it is the man in the robot suit. What next, you're gonna tell me that Zelda isn't the guy with the silly green hat.

Heresygubghh

No, I'd tell you that Mr. Krabs is working for a giant robot dragon in space collecting blue goo for some research.

His Mind is basically destroyed if both of those are destroyed. Destroying the body also includes the brain, and destroying their soul also includes their memories and their essence. Also, there was no counter argument to Nigh-AZ Ice Beam freezing the body and Soul in place.

The mind and the brain aren't the samething though. And destroying his soul and body wouldn't get rid of his mind as all those or different things as well.
