Weekly's surprise: SCP 1440 vs. Randall Flagg with the Black Thirteenth

Randall Flagg probably has this

I dont know about the old man's sealing but if it just trap someone somewhere/inside it, there's a high chance that Flagg could just make a portal or hax the old man from there because of high hyperversal range, or Flagg could just BFR the old man to the Todash Darkness which is probably outside the Brothers reach.

SCP-1440 would also have a hard time trying to get close to Flagg to spear him because of passive mind control aura or the eye drives the old man mad by staring at him, the eye also doesnt need Flagg's guidance and could act on its own accord

So voting Flagg for now

No, 1440's sealing is literally just him opening the bag in his hand and sealing the target inside.

1440 resists mind hax from 1-Bs

The Black Thirtheenth is the eye of the Crimson King, it allows him to influence the immediate vicinity which he cant normally do (becase he's trapped at the top of the tower)

Old man throws his bag.

The Walkin' Dude literally walks out.

And then Black Thirteen has its way with the poor old guy while the Brothers are stuck watching in horror.

...

And that's your absolute best scenario for the old guy. And for the Brothers themselves.

Eh, I misfired a bit when I first said this. On two accounts:

  • It's implied that the Eye of Dis was actually separated from him in the making of Black Thirteen, and the orb itself is shown to have its own personality whenever it's awake. So while it is the Eye of Dis, it's likely to be a separate being from Dis at this point, although it's still High 1-B for various reasons.
  • It can affect people well outside of its immediate vicinity. It's all but stated that it forced Eddie and Jake to "go todash" to a different reality in Wolves of the Calla, back when they were still a great distance from Calla Bryn Sturgis where it was located. It basically flung them into a different universe before they had made it anywhere near the thing. (Although they made it back, thanks to the imprints of themselves that were left behind from the act of them going todash in the first place.)
Other than that, everything that's been said here is true. Although its passive mindhax is only effective within a few meters of itself, I think.

High 1-B strong.

I'm not too familiar with black tower, how does Randall just walk out? I only saw Black Thirteenth giving illusion creation, mind manip, clairvoyance, madness manip, and BFR. Is the idea that Randall would self-BFR using the Black Thirteenth after getting bagged?

Shit. I forgot to add multiversal travel to his profile...

Basically, it can be used to travel across the multiverse, through multiple means. One of the more commonly-seen uses involves preexisting doors/portals, which it can alter to exit into whatever location the user wants. Flagg is special because he can literally make his own doors by drawing on surfaces with chalk.

The other way it can help someone travel the multiverse is by assisting them in "going todash" , which is something all of the seeing spheres of Maerlyn's Rainbow are capable of assisting in, but Black Thirteen is the one best-suited for it. The only issue is that when going todash, Flagg would leave an imprint of himself inside the bag where he was originally located, which could potentially be disturbed.

That said, him "walking out" isn't the only scenario, just the absolute best one for the old man. With Black Thirteen in his hands, he could just have it mind-control 1440 from inside the bag and have him release him again. And that's assuming 1440 even manages to open the bag in the first place, since Black Thirteen could easily just mind-control him right out of the gate, induce mind-numbing pain in his entire body (I didn't add that either, did I? ****), or instantly send him into Todash Space or some other place the Brothers can't reach. Among a few other things I may be forgetting right now.
