How do we treat power null against much stronger foes? Will it work without feats, or do we consider it a NLF without the proper feats against foes far outside your power range?

Depends how it's done.

I believe that stuff that directly nullifies the effect (the attack itself) would need feats. But stuff that affects the cause (prevent you from using the attack in the first place) could be considered regular hax.

@Dragon

I don't think so.

Take the Silence effect in most RPGs. No matter how powerful you are, if your spells require recitation, then you can't cast spells if you're rendered mute.

Wouldn't that be game mechanics or just counted as "feats"?

I ask because many times involving Power Null I've seen this asked, and these are the responses given.

NLF only apply if it's directly related to the AP/dura of a character.

I'd say that preventing an attack from occurring in the first place isn't related to AP.

This is also due to the fact that many PN users tend to be weaker character nullifying stronger ones.

But then something that is always brought up is that, "Does this mean a Low 2-C can null a 2-C or 2-A from doing anything?"

The answer should be the same as any other hax, no?

Erasing a 3-A is fine, but we can't extrapolate to erasing a 2-C.

And then I ask, if one has a resistance to Power Null, how would we treat this?

bump.

To be honest in this regard I think you need feats.

Because Nullifying power must have a limit. I mean, if I am 4D it doesnt mean I can nullify the powers of everyone from Low 2-C to 2-A.
