Zombieman speed upgrade

13,900
5,395
Zombieman was capable of reacting to the speed of homeless emperor's attacks and pushing child emperor out of the way
therefore, homeless emperor, pureblood, and zombieman's reactions should scale to mach 5005

Yo asking for clarification but uh are those orbs in the panel of amai mask noticing, alr in the middle of travelling towards them?

and how far was zombie man again?

here's their relative positions. Zombieman only reacts after the balls started moving anyways.

eh zombie man's reaction was offscreen and it could be that he was already outstretching his arm towards child emperor, and when the balls started moving, the next panel is literally just his hand finally landing and reaching child emperor. At subsonic speeds, amai mask noticing, and THEN zombie man having time to turn his head quick enough and to react before the balls moved seemed reasonable enough an interpretation

uh not really
the panels are usually in chronological order, and he only tells him to look out after they start moving

Massively Hypersonic+ combat speed? I don't think Zombie Man can run faster than those light orbs otherwise he would have been able to avoid their AOE during his battle with Homeless Emperor.

He was also really close to Child Emperor.

yeah reactions and combat, I wasn't going for travel speed here

After some deliberation, I realized that it could maybe possibly technically still work... amai mask telling them to look out occurs in the panel of zombie man's arm already pushing child emperor away. It could just be that zombie man had already noticed and reacted offscreen, then amai mask warns them thinking they were caught unaware, which is the panel we see.

I mean zombie man should look more suprised considering he apparently JUST NOW notices the orbs moving towards him. Even amai looks more suprised simply seeing the stationary orbs.

Not to mention that zombie man and child emperor are already facing the orbs in the same panel of amai mask's warning, when beforehand they weren't, and we dont see any indication of the two having turned around, or any movement that portrayed them as having changed direction specifically by reacting from what amai mask said, wherein the panel of him giving out the warning the ONLY motion we see is of zombie man already moving sideways and outstretching his arm; pointing towards the fact that the aforementioned unseen movements have occured offscreen.

Offscreen movement born from reacting to having noticed the orbs already.

Can anyone address this first before anything else?

I can see how this thread may have relevance to a certain homeless emperor thread

Sounds kinda like headcanon, ngl. All the panels show are:
  1. Amai Mask noticing the light spheres
  2. The spheres travelling towards them
  3. Zombieman pushing Child Emperor out of the way while the spheres are still travelling
  4. Zombieman getting hit

I mean what else could it mean if the panels dont show zombie man and CE changing direction? Is it seriously headcannon to assume they did it offscreen?

Also, this scaling chain would end up making Zombieman faster than Half-Monster Garou...
Also is this ever contradicted? ZombieMan was never noted as being particularly slow so this doesn’t mean anything unless you have something to back up the idea that this isn’t possible

and no, even tiger level fodder like electric catfish man are even high hypersonic+, just because some fodder monsters can tag him doesn’t mean anything unless we have proof that they’re below mhs+
