Pretty sure that type 1 AE is considered to be superior to type 2 AE unless the Type 2 is concept based.

AE1 isn't superior to AE2, they are completely different to compare, AE1 is incorporeality at abstract level, AE2 is immortality type 8 reliant on an abstract source

I’m assuming AE1 > AE2 based on whatever written on the wiki page. AE1 lacks a physical form and to destroy it, you need abilities that can directly interact with the AE, whereas AE2 can be killed by directly interact the AE, however, they can also be killed without directly interact with the AE.
