Zenless Zone Zero Discussion Thread

Wouldn't it apply to

Spook Shack (The faction that fought it.)

Also Yunkui Summit was the main faction fighting the sacrifices within the city in 2.2

Also can this be used for anything?

While the set up means Yixuan can't do the city wide scanning without prep, she still takes on all the poison into herself, which would be a personal resistance feat.

Also the ball of Poison is pretty massive. like maybe a city block amount of Liquid?

probably resistance but we'd need to establish what miasma can do we don't have a profile for a miasma ethereal or ether/miasma

oh the upgrades were already implemented, for belobog at least. obol squad's profiles haven't been made yet but i mean we can just implement the 8-C stats for them when they get made
falling-ouch.gif

I didn't know that, no wonder there's no upgrade CRT for it smh

Hey, just like last time...s, does this profile for Soukaku look good? I'm concerned about any P&A or AP feat i could of missed, i don't know Soukaku lore/powerscaling that well
Alsoalso, i should keep Longevity no?

finally finished playing through the 2.3 story

really solid overall, i enjoyed it. did feel like the beginning was a bit slow, but that kinda just feels like a common occurrence with most ZZZ chapters at this point. the latter half was great, especially with manato fighting his drowned ideal and lucia's goodbye to her ah-deh. i'm honestly glad we finally got to step away from the exaltist stuff, felt like a really nice breath of fresh air. manato, lucia, and yidhari were all great this chapter too. manato was definitely the highlight for me personally, but i also ended up really enjoying yidhari's character more than i expected to.

in terms of feats, there's actually some fairly notable stuff. a lot of hax-based stuff with yidhari being able to create illusions of the past and what not. more info on what ether/miasma can do, like lucia being able to form ethereal clones by manipulating the ether in the air. there's also the weird stuff with yidhari creating the entire abandoned town that all the drowned ideals were residing in. definitely seems more hax-based, but the town did seem to have physical mass and everyone was able to interact with the stuff in it so who knows

i think the most impressive feat definitely comes from that cutscene where manato jumps in front of the proxy to block a point blank lightning bolt from master lumin though. granted, manato was standing literally right next to the proxy, but the fact that he still managed to move in time to block it especially when the bolt was pretty much inches away from the proxy's face i think is still really impressive. i think that's definitely worth looking into, honestly could be the most impressive speed feat we have for the series to date

the feat in question if anyone's curious (obvious spoilers for the story)

Shit I forgor
In this patch, who's scale to who? Banyue definitely is going to be very up there, but how about Manato and Lucia?

spook shack should scale to 8-C since iirc they fought a sacrifice monster in 2.1's story, and manato openly admitted that he was weaker than banyue, so banyue would at least be > manato and likely just all of spook shack in general. not sure if he's on the level of the VH characters like miyabi and yixuan since we literally don't know anything about him yet but i think at the very least he's probably slightly below them. regardless i think he should upscale from manato and the rest of spook shack, so he'd be at least 8-C, likely higher

to give a TL;DR version :

miyabi/yixuan >= banyue > manato + spook shack

Also in the Yidhari event. Manato and Lucia admit they're also nowhere near as strong as Big Daddy.

So they likely don't match up to the Top tiers of the SoC either (Caesar, Lighter and Burnice.)

Also Caesar as a kid managed to toss an entire Motobike on top of Steeltusk by accident.

see like, at this point now i really don't see why every playable agent shouldn't just be baseline 8-C

top tiers of the SoC should be relative to big daddy, billy should be relative to caesar, lighter etc, anby should be relative to billy, soldier 11 should be relative to anby, etc etc.

i just feel like there's way too much cross scaling between factions that's reasonable and makes sense for 8-C to not just be standard for the entire verse at this point

Soldier 11 is absolutely not relative to Anby. Like it's a pretty massive point in her story arc and Anby's Story quest that they specifically aren't relative.

I think 8C is a bigger argument on the basis that the narrative is clearly suggesting that Spookshack themselves aren't particularly noteworthy (And more likely than not on the weaker end Agent wise.)

I mean, who's opposing the idea in this thread? If not then we could roll on, but Naito might know more about it

I do think the 8-C should just be applied universally, even disregarding the door feat, we kinda have some other stuff like bosses already busting down buildings even before 2.0 update. It's better to bring the rest of the verse up to speed than just assume some doesn't apply. The only case where ratings would differ imo is with void hunter tiers

Have any calcs been done for these two feats?

I think they're both pretty substantial. The first one especially because it's a destructive feat done by a farbauti.

Even Zhu yuan was styling on them in cutscenes.

that's fair, but yeah i still think in general everyone scaling to 8-C is fine, and like naito just said i'd only reserve higher scaling for the void hunter characters (i.e miyabi and yixuan)

if there's no objections to it we could probably open up a CRT for it then no?

These look pretty impressive, although I'd personally have a hard time calcing the first one since you don't really see the whole wall, so you'd have a pretty hard time calculating that. The second one could be easier because you'd just need to count the reinforced concrete fragments and how high they were put in the air but I'd need advanced look into the game itself to approximate their volume.

Electricity sparks are really hard to determine just because there's varying signs of what constitutes the speed of electricity. This clearly isn't natural lightning so then you'd have to ask more questions to determine its speed. Making the generous assumption that this was lightning given Lightning Feats page does suggest we can consider this as one or assume lightning speed (albeit with some caveats), I'd speculate Massively Hypersonic+ to maybe Relativistic

Actually, due to the way ZZZ uses assets, we do know what that full wall looks like

Or to be more precise, Floor.

i got a recording of the defiler's tsunami attack since she's in rotation for deadly assault at the moment. it seems like the tsunami does in fact have a maximum height to it which i think is probably useful. if more angles or a different character is necessary for easier measurements i could probably go back and rerecord

also while i was going through finding clips for my CRT i noticed two things that i thought were interesting. the first was during chapter 2, when the sacrifice monster creates a bunch of giant ether crystals as it absorbs belobog's machines. i'd imagine this could probably yield something decent but i assume it's probably difficult to calc mainly just because we don't really know the exact material of ether crystals (unless we just assume they are crystal, but that seems unlikely)

the second is during 2.2's story when isolde's soldiers shoot out what seem to be ether bullets to create a giant cloud of sorts in the air. i don't think i'd go so far as to literally call this a cloud, but i'm more interested in the fact that it spreads out into a pretty large area relatively quickly. a bit curious as to how fast that'd be and whether or not it'd be applicable to any of the character profiles

Finally getting around to this, and these are the figures I need
M1U4-Fig4.17-EnergyConversion.png

The length and height are calculable but the width is difficult to find because we're not on the side of the wave

yeah, don't think there's a way to find the exact width of it unfortunately. i think you'd probably just have to guesstimate it

Yeah we'd really have to lowball it to smth like 1 meter because that's the best I can come up with unfortunately 😭 I've taken screenshots of chars next to Defiler for accurate pixel-scaling height.

Why Ellen is weaker than Lycaon, is it a joke?
In chapter 3 we already had info, that she is strongest, and Team 1 (Ellen, Corin) = Team 2 (Lycaon, Alexandrina). So his speed should be on her lvl, not faster.

Since ZZZ is now 8-C based, I remade this

Worth noting that the new Fortune Event does show that Mockingbird is pretty wary of Zhu Yuan's PubSec, so we could use it as support for them being comparable, given Hugo said that the mission got more perilous whemn they were hired to help

So I framechecked Vital View, and it seems like, for Billy at least, without proccing his attack, Vital View lasts for 2.75 seconds (2 seconds and 45/60 frames in a 60fps video).

Second, to test attacks and how slow they go, I watched the Mk. 2's spin attack in the testing arena. Which completed a quarter of its revolution in about 112 frames or 1.87 seconds during the slo-mo. By contrast, the normal speed of the spin attack completes a quarter of its revolution in about 4 frames, or about 0.7 seconds. This makes it 28x faster than when it was slo-mo'd, meaning that by my estimate, Vital View increases the speed and perception of the user to about 28x their normal speed.
