was playing around with a buncha different nangong teams before i went to bed and god damn it she's really fun 😭😭 i might have to invest fully and try to get her w-engine, especially with how much it boosts her

finished 2.7's story earlier today

very cool as a whole. short, but sweet. the hollow champion setting is really cool, gave me major JJK culling games vibes. cissia was great, i really enjoy her as a character and i think she's both sweet and extremely entertaining. billy is billy, so he's cool (as always), and promeia was also cool, very intrigued to see more of her backstory and relationship with cissia (the fight scene between the two was absolutely peak.) as far as the new characters go, i liked em all, velina and norma seem interesting, romuel was a really cool villain, but i'm definitely the most interested in ramiel. her ability to essentially put people in suspended animation is extremely OP. very curious to see more of her, especially with confirmation that she is in fact from roscaelifer. not much else to say, but yeah, the story was great. voice acting was on point too, especially for both cissia and romuel (i play in english and their VAs killed it)

as far as feats go, i think the two main things are cissia and promeia's fight and romuel himself. promeia was basically moving fast enough to blitz cissia, so her speed might be something worth calcing. as for romuel, i think he's probably up there as being one of the stronger characters in verse, as he was basically handling a 4v1 against lighter, lucy, billy and cissia

Her animation quality is honestly great

Side note:
Masked has been doing Nangong's Trust events, and
She has some crazy Info Analysis.
You watch the other idol group, The Forecasters, with her, and she can
Deduce minor changes in the angle of their arms for their dance moves
and the reason why they implemented those changes (which was to take advantage of the lighting)
as well as minor changes to their dance formation
 
on an unrelated note, i think having a proper verse-specific page for ether (+ miasma and ethereal/sacrifice physiologies) would be beneficial for pages moving forward so i might prioritize working on that before proceeding to more character pages (i've been really wanting to properly fill out the rest of the character pages for the verse so it's not as barren, i've just been preoccupied)

Yeah I saw the blog, but it's not a proper explanation page, nor does it have scans just references. I'm also wondering if you guys can get anything else for it (based off new story), I think one of the supporters I spoke to mentioned making one at some point. Anyways, is Ether an actual matter? Or do we not know what it is yet?

Masked isn't sure if anyone is currently working on anything (Naito-desu is too busy with studies)
And no, we still don't know what Ether is.
We continue to get several applications for it and ways to refine/control it, but no idea how it actually works.
It exists as particles that can be inhaled and forms crystals, but there are also currents of Ether that can manifest as lightning strikes.
At this rate, we'll have to wait for Arna to explain it all.
 
If you want, you can take my blog and migrate it to a sandbox. It was made in haste and fairly bare bones so I'm open to folks improving it while I'm busy.

i brought this up because of that brief conversation we had in the yixuan vs. makoto thread. it's probably something i'll work to make a proper page for in the coming days whenever i get the chance

ether is a weird substance, it seems to primarily take the form of a gas of sorts (as it's been stated that it's primarily ingested through respiration iirc), but it can also take the form of solid forms of matter (via ether crystals) and liquid (via miasma). but a lot of time it also moreso just functions as a general energy source (ether has specific connections to sound, which explains both w-engines and the usage of weapons like astra's specialized instrument, and ether can also surge and strike the ground in currents similar to lightning). outside of that though, we still know basically nothing about ether

Hoyo loves it's info slop, so it'll probably be revealed to be that at some point I imagine, isn't there a higher d statement too? Just ofc...can't really do anything with it right now

Last time i rmember on pf vs yixuan match, we pretty much equalized our Ethers. What funny is Ether in deepwoken is a energy source that is vital on almost everything. I think equalizing it is funny. Just a thought while trying to make a UES for it only to realize the verse has 3 powers utilizing in conjunction with it.

the creator has some stuff alluding it to being some kind of higher primordial entity yeah. but like you said, nothing concrete since we know literally nothing about them outside of small tidbits (plus reasonably speaking nobody in our cast would probably scale to them anyways, at least at the moment)
 
I've noticed that it's ability to be passed through air currents, crystallization when in high concentration, and liquidation is similar to the Punishing Virus from PGR. At least, in the most basic of applications I just mentioned

huh, interesting. never played PGR before but looking into it, yeah, it does seem pretty similar to ether and ether corruption. the page for it on the site might be a good frame of reference for when i make ZZZ's ether page

Honestly, the main problem with Verse Equalization right now is that we don't know what a score of 0 means.
We don't even know what the average score is in the Zenless Zone Zero universe, or what makes you resistant to Ether Corruption.

When Masked saw the Inter-Knot post, they were hoping there would be more posts like it, but no.
Just the one.
The Ether Aptitude test kit post just tells us that 50 is the threshold for working in Hollows, and that 80 is a high score, but not the highest.

Masked also wants to know exactly how the Pressure Overload works, since having a maximum of five (5) is just game mechanics.
And why don't we know the Ether Aptitude of the Agents? It seems like important information to have for your Hollow permit.
