What is Kantan you might ask? Credit goes to Blindstrike/Eigou for this:

Kantan is made of multiple layers (8), one has to find conditions to pass current layer, and go to higher one. Layers of Kantan look pretty much like reality, but they have various time axes.

1st Layer is a type of dream every human experiences 2nd Layer is a lucid dreaming, not only you're aware about your own dream, but it has a "continuous form", like a parts of movie, e.g. one night you're playing football for 45 minutes, and another night you're playing the second half 3rd Layer is much like 2nd, but you can share your dreams with others 4-7th Layers - these boundaries are connected to reality, so if you interfere here with something, time shift in reality can occur and literally change history. Moreover, if you die here you will die in reality, but no matter how serious injuries you will receive, they will not be present in reality. And if you go once again to Kantan, injuries you have sustained in the previous dream will disappear too. Additionaly, if you reach 4th Layer and higher, it will be impossible to go back to the safe zone, that is - layers 1-3. You can only go onward. 8th Layer - Alaya

So the main form of combat in Senshinkan is the Kantan Dream. It's a supernatural ability which uses caster own's imagination as the source. Thus, tough spirit/will is essential when using it. Kantan Dream can't be blocked with the physical means since it's the product of fantasy, fiction which eats into victim's mind, so besides powerful offensive function it possess supreme defense too - user not being able to suffer a harm without using something more abstract.

Kantan Dream is divided into 5 categories:

- Attack: offense type and speed type. This one reflects your physical capability from reality, so if you're physically strong there, it's guaranted your rank of Attack will be excellent. This type of dream is usually used for boosting physical abilities, but also things like senses.

- Defense: robust type and healing type. The first type is similiar to Attack. Healing though is one of the most difficult of categories because most people can't bear pain to heal - absolute master of this is Shinno Akikakge, with the so called "unlimited Regenerationn".

- Magic: focused type and dispersed type. Usually used to shoot all kinds of projectiles. The main function of that is to expand the range of other dreams in Eidan (which I will explain too).

- Cancel: transmission type and ruin type. The first type enables user to change their body into dream making all attacks pass through them, but also teleport. automatically move into blind spot of enemy, etc. Ruin type simply annihilates anything with a touch, no restriction to that, whether it's body, attacks of the enemy, or something metaphysical like dreams and concept, this type of Cancel can bring destruction upon everything (obviously it still depends on the skill). It's also the dream which can "wake up" everyone from Kantan, so it's essential in combat. The master of this dream (both types) is Oosugi Harumitsu (to the extent he's capable of reducing the world).

- Creation: matter type and world type. The most difficult branch, but the one which is pinnacle of Kantan Dream. Matter type can create any kind of object. The problem is a dreamer's knowledge - while you know what a gun is, you don't know how exactly it works, so you can bring only warped form of that. Moreover, the moment you create something it becomes "real", so enemy can use created weapons against you in some situation. Master at this is Amakasu Masahiko. There's a special form of this, called Amalgam. Basically two or more users combine their dream to generate object far more powerful than they could do on their own, it's a form of the powerful synergy. It shouldn't be confused with a Forced Cooperation.

World type can in general play with reality, from controlling weather, to playing with time, up to creating worlds with their independent laws. Said worlds can be only destroyed by crushing "the core" with Cancel. Dan Karuma specializes in this dream.

Goshoraku: in general, refers to power levels in Senshinkan. It isn't as absolute as in Shinza (only Taikyoku can beat Taikyoku), but it still plays a really significant role in a combat. There are 5 levels:

- Jodan: this one uses one of the 10 types of Kantan Dream. How powerful it is depends entirely on the user. e.g. Amakasu Jodan can surpass pretty much every Kyudan in the output.

- Eidan: deploys two dreams at the same time. This can bring variety of effects. For example, by combining Defense (healing) and Magic (focused) dreamer can heal their allies at a distance; by combining Attack (speed) and Cancel (transmission) dreamer can perform unusual movement, disregarding concept of speed. The possiblities of that are almost unlimited. Otoh, not everything can be combined. Possibility of error always exists, which can cause dream to go runaway. But some of the character learned how to guide it for further boost. e.g. Shinno Akikage combines Defense (healing) and Cancel (don't remember which one) to generate...unknown effect unfortunately. We just know landing careless attack on him is a bad idea. Better example is Akira, she combines Creation (matter), Magic (focused), Defense (healing). While this normaly would enbable her to heal her companions she adds another one, Cancel (ruin), to create error in the healing, and make unexpected events to occur. In the case of Yoshiya, he would have his senses completely destroyed, together with nervous system.

- Yabudan: 3rd level with produces specific kind of dream by combining 3 dreams. You can think of it as a Senshinkan version of Briah (though not as powerful). This type of dream brings unique effects not capable of being replicated by others, as they result from type of lifetime and personality of character. e.g. Rinko wanted to shut beasts from human society so slashes of her halberd remain as a kind of cage; Kurana thinks everything is meaningless bar his love of Yurika co he can reduce mass of everything which comes closer to his body. Also, it's possible for dreamer to have multiple Yabudan, as shown with Yoshiya. Though he might the the only case.

- Kyudan: combines at least 3 dreams and further boosts the power of dream with Forced Cooperation by implementing flow of feelings in the area.

In Senshinkan there's a phenomenon called Forced Cooperation (ÕìöÕèøÕ╝ÀÕêÂ), when you achieve Kyudan's level of Kantan's dream (would be to long to explain, basically levels of powers) you can use that. It's basically conditioning to activate your abilities. It can be seen as a weakness in many cases (Mizuki's Kyudan is almost impossible to pull of, without spending life with her (tho there are exceptions too), Karuma's kyudan's true effect (table flip) is hard to achieve too without knowing his personality). But when you manage to pull others into Forced Cooperation you're practically at the mercy of caster, because it uses your own agreement to achieve it. For example, Karuma's Forced Cooperation is that his opponent must know that game will now take place, and now you're trapped in his game board with no chance to escape because you agreed to it.

- Tsuidan: same case as with Kyudan.

So basically create a sheet of what your stats would be in Kantan. I know, I know, strong willpower and all that. But still, the Yabudan and Kyudan should be interesting to see. The maximum point for humans to have is 10 and it is impossible for them to get any higher than that.

- Attack:

Offense: 3 Defense: 3

- Defense:

Robust: 5 Healing: 3

- Magic:

Focused: 7 Dispersed: 3

- Cancel:

Transmission: 4 Ruin: 4

- Creation:

Matter: 8 World: 8

Yabudan: Allows for the capability to take on the appearances of any living thing that they have seen and wanted to be, being rooted in the desire of "being able to be what I desire". The weakness of this is that the person becomes as strong or weak as the entity in question, meaning that a snake remains a snake and a lion, a lion.

Kyudan: Takes it even further, by being able to mimic the appearance of anything that strikes the person as being wanted, or just on a whim. The condition for this is that the person must acknowledge "the right to be whoever and whatever you want". At the very extreme, even a character from a fictional work can be mimicked.

However, the weakness of this ability is that it requires the user to have a deep knowledge of the subject and its limitations. Transforming into a moth while it rains heavily would just result in an early death. The true danger of the ability lies in versatility and the capability to perform sneak attacks from unexpected angles.
