True. In my case I'm imagining Yoshifumi desperately throw his knife at random direction before he died to Reinhart. The knife then disappear (going back in time) changing reality, erasing Reinhardt and thus bringing Yoshifumi back alive via causal effect.

The wincon for Yoshi is to simply let go of the knife with the intention of killing Reinhart.
What are the chances that he will even know that he needs to thtow the knife? Reinhard has an established instinct that tells him almost exactly what to do and Yoshifumi doesn't have any prior knowledge at all.
First of all, does he instantly start throwing knives at people or does he do smth else as well?

The middle tier of Instant Death verse, especially the Sages have discernment skill that let them know their opponent status/power.
If Yoshifumi Superhero time didn't give him a particular ability to specifically counter Reinhart, he will assume he already had something he needed to defeat him and thus resorting to the knife to throw.
