He said if mind hax makes this a stomp it's not allowed. It doesn't so it's fine. Yoda doesn't use it off the bat like Luke does but he likely would as soon as he realized what Mew could do.

It does to an extent, it's actually quite underrated IMHO

Yoda can't easily mind hax Mew anyway, he'd have to concentrate while fighting Mew, a character who we could all agree is easily above Cad Bane, a Force-Muggle who resisted mind hax from Anakin, Ahsoka and Mace Windu, this wiki agreeing that Windu is a peer to Anakin. We also don't know if Palpatine concentrated when using his mind hax, which he could given he has all the time in the world.

TLDR, Force Mind Hax isn't a game-changer here.

@Bruce

Again, not how that works. Yoda's Mind Hax scaled to 10 Trillion people, Mew's Mind Resistance is no where near that level.

Precognition probably means Yoda will be the first of them to really 'see' what the other is capable of.

I'm of the opinion that mind manip should grant some level of mind resistance, but in an actual, prolonged mental battle, Legends Yoda ragdolls Mew hard. He's far superior in that area.

Plus, Mew may be far older, but he is largely untrained and is nowhere near as disciplined as Yoda. In a close-up fight, the latter most likely wins out.

Yeah, I think Yoda takes this.

Also, again, the way Mind Hax is measured in power is by how many people it can control at once.

Example, if you resisted Mind Hax that controlled 10 people, this is worthless against Mind Hax that controlled 10 Trillion.

That changes nothing. Mew is far above the likes of Cad Bane with regards to mind manipulation and it took them all extreme concentration, something Mew is too smart to let Yoda do in the middle of a fight.

Mew can resist mind has that can affect trillions of people at once can he? That Cad Bane thing sounds like an outlier and even then yoda didn't want to drive him crazy.

Also, them having no resistance doesn't change that the mind hax worked on one trillion people at once. If the argument is "they had no resistance", then Cad Bane can resist 1 trillion people level mind hax, however briefly, and that's obviously completely silly.

Yet you are treating their Mind Hax like it ain't no thing.

Their Mind Manipulation is, in fact, the most powerful on the wiki.

@Wright

Yoda wasn't even there.

Outlier? The only characters who have ever done trillion-level mind hax in SW to my knowledge are Palpatine and maybe Vitiate. It also isn't an outlier if well trained force users do it on a semi-frequent basis, as Darth Caedus was briefly resisted iirc, though he killed the person he was interrogating via brain hemmorage. Rey also resisted it from Kylo Ren, and she has mind manipulation.

I think it's also been established that force-users can't usually mind hax eachother.

It's extremely potent, don't get me wrong, but honestly it's put a bit too high.

Also, force users couldn't mind hax the Yuuzon Vong iirc

But this isn't a revision thread, so I'll drop it.

Yes, they can't Mind Hax EACH OTHER. Because their mental defences are powerful enough to fend off equally powerful Mind Hax.

Do you really think every jedi in the EU can mind hax trillions of people? Only a handful have ever been able to do anything remotely close

Yoda isn't Sidious' equal, he lost their duel, albeit narrowly

That means nothing.

They flat out say that Yoda and Windu are his equals. Windu even defeated him before Anikin cheapshotted him.

No, just everyone on the High Council/Sidious level.

I.E. Yoda.

His tutaminis being overpowered proves Palpatine's power was greater, even if only slightly.

Also, Mace Windu isn't Palpatine's equal at all. That fight was very circumstantial and Mace Windu has been challenged by Depa Billaba, Darth Maul, Sora Bulq, Dooku, General Grievious, Quinlan Vos, and Kar Vastor, none of whom except for Dooku would even beat ROTS Kenobi

'Legends' Star Wars has some ridiculous mindhax.

But, uh, they're not the strongest on the wiki when it comes to that. A number of other verses smash them in that area. Hard.

Still though, as far as this matchup goes, Yoda's mindhax makes Mew's look like child's play. In a mental duel where the two parties are giving it their all, the former would bend the latter to his will with ease.
