It can carry only one bomb at the time, and has to place it, which likely would let it get attacked by Magikarp, As for transmutation, pikmin only do it it to corpses. Besides, I doubt one Yellow Pikmin would be able to carry a Magikarp. Not only that, but Pikmin aren't able to strategize by themselves, which means that it would just walk up to the Magikarp and try to grapple it, only to get flailed away and killed in one hit. If Olimar needs a squad of pikmin to take on enemies far amaller than Magikarp, it's pretty obvious that one single Pikmin would have no chance against Magikarp. Magikarp vs Olimar would be a better match, or Magikarp against one of the Pikmin final bosses.

Yellow Pikmin can damage Olimar and the three other captains. All of which are super far into 10-C. So saying a single yellow pikmin beats Magikarp isn't farfetched. And Yellow Pikmin's Electric Generation can one-shot 10-Cs as high as them. And the transmutation thing is false, as they have put Olimar when he was alive in their, and other captains and stuff.

I vote magikarp. Magikarp's size is about as big as many Pikmin enemies that one yellow pikmin cannot defeat on their own. Magikarp takes this with low to mid difficulty, depending on how fast it flops on top of the pikmin and how much it gets shocked before the inevitable happens.

Pikmin have dealt with worse than a magikarp. They can literally latch on to a non-physical being made of plasma.

That's just Non Physical Interaction. Logically speaking, unless he were flung, the Yellow Pikmin would need perfect timing to grab the Magikarp.
