Let's see, the Catachan Barking Toad has the best Poison Manipulation feat for its tier, with a poison that's deadly for over a kilometer. Olimar is perhaps the best biologist of the same tier. The Catachan Barking Toad's poison can handle the Poison Resistances of sealed suits; however, Olimar resisted Gloom from the Smoky Progg, which was initially claimed to be a poison, but Pikmin 4 made it into straight-up Death Manipulation that can kill ghosts, which Olimar can just take normal damage from. If Olimar can handle the Smoky Progg, then he can certainly handle the Catachan Barking Toad.

You do realize that being the most potent poison means it's competing with Nurglite poisons right? Ya know, the poisons that can instant kill Space Marines who are supposed to be all but immune to poisons?

Like, the Barking Toad has one of the best non-smurf poisons on the wiki, and the poison Olimer resists being death Manipulation is not magically letting him resist this, it just means he resists poison that instant-kills normal people. The Barking Toad is one instant kill, then an immunity, then another instant kill, and then an upscale above standard poison.

My man, if you wanna call it layered Poison Manip, there's a literal Layered Hax Evaluation Thread in the forums to bring that case up. As the profile currently stands, there's no hint at layers for it.

Layers don't really exist for poison, seeing as there's an IRL scale for it...

Sure, Astartes alone are immune to poisons off the charts of that scale, but yeah there still is an IRL poison scale, same with Acid.

Based on the fact that the attacks of the Hydro Dweevil do zero damage to Olimar (see tech data), Olimar literally just ignored it.
