Yakagi Suimei is back from the dead (literally)!

“You’ll do well to mark my words. Magicians aren’t ones to die from being killed once or twice.” ——Yakagi Suimei

First, my apologies if I don't really know how to do this stuff, it's my first post.

So, the Light Novel is back with the 10th Volume, and here's an ability that should be registered in Suimei's profile.

Here's the feat (LN Vol 10 Chapter 4 and Epilogue)

Context:
Moolah is a Demon General who has a vast amount of energy and when she used her miasma attack on the area where Suimei was, it completely obliterated him, leaving literally nothing behind it.
When the others arrived to see it, Hydemary explained that there are magicians, by their nature, who are difficult to kill, as they have many means to escape death, which are mainly split in 4 categories :
“First: A stock of lives. In short, they have multiple lives, just like in a video game. By preserving enough energy to substitute for life beforehand, you can create a fixed number of lives to escape death.
“Second: Quantifying the point of fatality. A technique that makes it possible to define the point of death by damage to mana or the soul instead of the flesh and internal organs. In short, creating an HP pool.
“Third: SMOS. Swampman Operating System. A pseudo-resurrection technique accomplished by creating a new body with the same memories.
“And the hardest to pull off, a Grand Resurrection Ritual. This is a genuine spell to revive the dead...”
Suimei used the last one. After stabilizing his lost astral body and by analyzing the records of his ether body, he reformed his body with the Grand Resurrection Ritual. In short, he was revived. This was performed with a voice recorder he had prepared beforehand. NB : he has placed some defense on the recorder so that it wouldn't be easily destroyed.

So my proposition :
Self-Resurrection (Low-Godly. Can reform/resurrect his body after it had been completed obliterated with the Grand Resurrection Ritual, as long as the voice recorder isn't destroyed.)
NB : Idk if this should give him an Immortality type 8 too or not.

Agree : @Godsatoshi23 @Wikisource @DarkDragonMedeus @Dereck03
Disagree :
Neutral :

Shouldn't we add a "likely" Mid-Godly regen too? As Demon's attacks damage the soul aswell

I thought about that at first too, but it probably won't be enough because it hasn't shown that Suimei's soul has been completely erased. So, I am not sure about that.

I thought of making a thread for it if v11 announced but looks like author went on hiatus again because of this I lost motivation on this series to update on vs battle

Fair, that's why I proposed a "possibly" rating.
Besides, you really shouldn't lose interest tho, author pretty much has means of continuing it. Hiatus after publishing long volumes are normal, usually an spam between 1-2 years. Look at High School DXD Shin, we've been without volume 5 for like 4 years

I guess it could work.

Yeah, I meant by not updating on the vs battle Wiki as their are still many mysteries about the cosmology and the spell which Suimei used to resurrect, I didn't wanted to leave it incomplete.

I really hope author announces any update about the series this is my fav isekai series and I want to see it complete.

Well we can always make another thread when we got more info about it in the future. Author can't just leave it at this cliffhanger when Suimei is about to show more of his strength and also the story should reach its climax soon

Well it is possible but not until we got more info about this spell since there's no mention in the fight that Suimei's soul got damaged. In fact, Demon's attacks can affect the astral body but I don't think that they do all the time, correct me if I'm wrong

Well it did mention that Suimei was stabilizing his lost astral body. So, I think it did effect his astral body in some way but it doesn't prove that his entire astral body was erased. I think we can argue for Mid-godly when more info is given.

Also, you can apply the changes on the profile. Input from two staff members should be sufficient for this thread.
