Very tempted to think what Cristoforo does is actually plot manipulation inside his own Sonoro Sphere, but a part of me can't help but think it's non-literal. Something about fate or something.

I’ve completed the quest, and I’m 200% sure that Christoforo has plot manipulation.

It’s not just fate manipulation—he can assign roles to characters and even make the plot loop. He can merge reality and fiction. While it initially started within the Sonoro Sphere, he eventually wanted to merge that world with reality.

Remember the match Rover and Lupa won within Christoforo’s play? It also affected reality, and Carthetiya even mentioned how broken Christoforo’s ability is. He can also seal away people who aren’t needed for his plot? Abby was locked away this whole time.

His limitations might be something like needing real inspiration from reality to power his ability. Also, if you’ve played the Ciaconna side story, he messed with parts of reality there too.

There’s also a book available in the inventory for reference. The plot changes after Lupa breaks free, and it’s split into three parts.

As for the Quest

Music and fights. Mya needs Justice. Damn her character design was so goated and backstory also. Can't really believe she is a NPC. I hope we get atleast her as 4 star character.

Thing is, as much as I think about it, I do think that while his Forte has a skin of plays/books/story, it involves Fate rather than plot. Remember in the sewers when he explains that the characters always want to break free from their fate or something ? I think it's his whole gist, he writes a script (fate) that people just can't escape unless some outside influence.

By the way, do we have a size for his Sonoro? Because adding up Septimont again and again should be pretty big imo.

Well fate manipulation is just manipulating destiny like used wishes
Fate Manipulation is the ability to manipulate destiny itself to achieve a desired result. More subtle forms of the ability can simply nudge events in the users favor while more powerful variations can make it possible to ordain one's victory against their opponent

Here he is creating and controlling the plot/story which governs that Sonoro. Fate manipulation doesn't assigns roles to characters.

Also his forte manipulates reality in different ways not just fate like Manipulation memories and erasing the characters who lose their role and recreating them again in the loop.

I just think it's just not Septimont. His Sonoro had night and day cycle. So not sure what size it is but good thing we can support for higher feats since if we going to scale Jue to tier 2 I guess?

Well, we were inside his Sonoro the moment we went to Septimont so... I'm not sure.

You know he's in character and hates to interfere with the plot he has written. That’s why he had an argument in 2.2 when Phrolova started acting on her own.

He simply places the characters, assigns them roles, and directs how the plot should move forward.

But in one of the loops, Lupa lost her role. She was erased because of that, as stated by Carthetiya later on. That’s the reason she disappeared.

Later, Carthetiya fought the Lioness of Glory and Mya, who was possessed by Leviathan. However, Leviathan was wounded and fled. Afterward, she fought Christoforo — remember the scene where she tried to attack him and scar?

Btw there was scene where Rover asks for Clarification on the roles and plot and it's explained clearly.

I Remember Carthetiya saying she went inside his Sphere with small gap. But I guess it's more like his Sonoro Sphere was likely merged with Reality itself?

Went to sleep so my bad. Anyway, she wasn't "erased" technically, she just lost her name and role, but she was still very much physically living.

Wasn't the whole goal that Mya would take up the role of protagonist instead of Lupa so that Lupa just becomes some nameless, unimportant girl ?

I'm not sure if "erased" here should be taken literally, to be honest. I mean, if he could just EE whoever he wanted, he would've done so with everyone going against him within the Sonoro ? If I'm not wrong, she died at one point within that story. (Edit : Yeah after checking the scene below, I think it's moreso that "someone who dies just disappear, especially when you don't have your role anymore, rather than him just being able to EE at will)

Well, if people thinks it's plot, ig it makes me a minority, but well, in any case, the power still does essentially only what's shown, so that it is classified as fate or plot makes it the same in the end.
 
To me, Fate Manipulation doesn’t quite fit Cristoforo’s power overall cause while tha part where he sets up the “scenario” and the characters does what they are “assigned” to do would fit with the Fate Manipulation, the other aspects of what he did like replacing Lupa from her “role” with Threnodian-possessed Mya kinda threw a wrench to that.

As for Lupa being erased, while Cristoforo doesn’t want to directly interfere with the characters in his “Story”, I view it as that the process is gradual. Like, erasing Lupa’s role would have erased her, it was more of an eventually rather than being an instant.

From what I understand from both parts of 2.4 story, the first story of Lupa by herself looping was to slowly break her down as Mya(Threnodian) slowly becomes more prominent in replacing Lupa, so I kinda figure that it’s not as much as Cristoforo choosing not to Lupa earlier, but rather Cartethyia happens to meet Lupa on her final legs just before disappearing.

As for whether Cristoforo has plot manipulation, I think it’s likely with limitations on his part, just that I’m not 100% sure in the sense that I’m thinking if there’s other powers that would fit more.

Any ability you list will have it's own limitations. Either way in vs wiki plot manipulation is perfect fit for his forte with whatever feats he has shown. Other than only text manipulation is close to it but even then text manipulation and plot manipulation can co exist.

Oh yeah definitely, I was just trying to look up and understand if there’s any other candidate for Cristoforo’s powers.

Regardless, Plot manipulation is still a very likely candidate for Cristoforo’s power.

Anyway, I think it’s neat that Rover used his aero power to separate Mya from Lupa. I think this is another showcase fissionism from Aero Rover.

I think Jue Sonoro Sphere should be just Low 2-C not 2-B what do you guys think?

While Verse may be 2-A with Jue statement but Black shores only has 2-B level of information on their system I think since information it can store is near infinite not Infinite iirc.
