Would this also work for the Intelligence rating?

I've seen some talk regarding giving characters who originally had "below average-average general intelligence, but genius in combat" be instead given the "Gifted" rating in response to the ongoing changes to the Intelligence section. With that said, I was was wondering if either of these two methods could also work as alternatives:

1) Keeping the character's "Genius" rating while listing their below average intelligence under the "Weaknesses" section.

2)Keeping the character's "Below Average" rating, while at the same time listing Genius Intelligence in their Powers and Abilities section.

Does this come along with their "Below Average" rating being removed from the intelligence section? If yes, no, imo.

No. I think Genius Intelligence as a hax is meant for general intelligence. We have abilities like Weapon Mastery or Martial Artist for Combat Geniuses.

Why not? Shouldn't a character's combat intelligence rating take priority over their general intelligence since the former is the one more relevant to powerscaling?

Last time I checked Weapon Mastery and Martial Arts doesn't really take proficiency into account. So long as a character can either fight with a weapon or fight barehanded then they will get the respective abilities. With that said, I don't think these two are enough to get the point across on their own.
Also I thought the "Genius Intelligence" ability is supposed to refer to the character's skills and strategic thinking, since their Intelligence section can already explain their general mental capacity.
