Woe, Squirrel Be Upon Ye (Squirrel Girl Profile Update)

Squirrel Girl. You know her, you love her, and if you don’t love her, you’re wrong.

Her current page is pretty bad. It’s old and outdated like a lot of Marvel pages, but there’s two notes on it that really stick out to me.

Infamously stomped Doctor Doom, Thanos and Fing Fang Foom, but her exact tier with them is far too inconsistent to rate

Due to the actual fights occuring off-screen, please do not attempt to scale Squirrel Girl to characters like Thor (Jane Foster), Thanos and Captain Marvel, as it highly contradicts her usual portrayals.

The bolded portions are what I take issue with, as her infamous win streak is actually incredibly consistent, and she’s still depicted as someone who can take down massive threats like Thanos and Doctor Doom (both of these victories are referenced pretty regularly in anything she appears in), so it’s not contradictory either.

To rectify these errors, I’ve given her page a complete overhaul from the ground up with scans, references, etc, and generally brought it up to modern standards, which you can view in the sandbox below.

For an overview of the main changes from her current profile:

P&A
Every ability now has a justification with scans and references, and I’ve added abilities for her equipment in a separate tabber. I’ve also removed her Regeneration and Possible Probability Manipulation, as I found no evidence for either of them during my research.

Attack Potency
The main changes are here, as she now has a usual rating of High 3-A for her summons, as this is the tier that most of her opponents (i.e. Thanos, Terrax, Ego, etc.) fall under.

I’ve given her a 1-A rating for her absolute peak, which I’m sure will be controversial, but I think it’s quite consistent. As I’ve listed in her justification, she outright defeated Quoggoth and Dormammu in his own dimension - both of whom are 1-A - on-panel, and to support that, she has a couple of High 1-B feats in defeating Pluto and Doctor Doom feeling the need to bolster his defenses against her, despite already having displayed the means to absorb High 1-B characters like Galactus and the Beyonder.

Her 1-A rating has multiple feats backing it up, is entirely self-contained, and doesn’t scale to anyone but her summons, so I think it’s consistent enough to be put on her page as the peak of her Varies tier.

Lifting Strength
This one, I need some help with. I couldn’t find anything on how much a log cabin weighs, so I just put that feat in a ‘likely far higher’ rating, but if anyone can find an actual number for that, it’d be much appreciated.

Disregard the above, Tllmbrg had a much better suggestion for her lifting strength.

Tbh I get it, the issue is that they’re not really accurate. The Modern one is super stylized while the Classic one technically depicts a different universe version of the character.

Acrobatics: Remove the part about her jumping high, that doesn't qualify for the power anymore (I should know, I removed high jumps from it)
Surface Scaling: I'm not sure if her feats count, since using claws would probably rely on damaging the surface but idk what's our standard there
Martial Arts: Wouldn't use the first feat, comes off her as just blitzing and swiping with her claws at him

Equipment:
Idk what the standards with Mjolnir are, but wouldn't she just get all of its powers by wielding it? Or do people outside Thor get limited to what they show
If she gets Model 1 and 2 of Iron Man's suits, shouldn't they be linked in her P&A?

Intelligence:
How is her general just Gifted when she out there applying computing skills to using Mjolnir to copy other power effects and rebuilding advance robots? I feel like that merits Genius at the very least.

I have some things of my own to voice, I don't have time right now, but I want to at least report one thing I had noticed some time ago.
In Marvel Meow: Infinity Comic Vol 1 9, Squirrel Girl grabs Fin Fang Foom by the tail, halts his flight and then slams him down.
I have no idea how much he is supposed to weight nor if Marvel Database's info on it is reliable (I should check the issue of Marvel Monster which they use as a reference), but it should be an impressive feat nonetheless.

I tried looking for a better full body image, but that’s the best I found, and the cartoonish style is the style of her main comic runs, so I figured it’d be appropriate for her page (at least more appropriate than the also heavily stylized anime-looking one on her current page).

If anyone’s got a better suggestion though, I’m open to changing it.

That’s really good support for her current rating. I checked the issue myself, it has Fin Fang Foom listed as ranging from 0 to 146,000 tons, which would be Class M (and to a lower degree than the feat she currently scales to), so I’ll add that to the sandbox.

On another note, I’ve found another feat to support her 1-A at peak rating, she’s shown to have defeated Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet (Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Vol. 2 #47)

It’s also shown that she’s used the IG but I’m not sure if I can include that as part of her optional equipment when it’s literally just a single panel
