They're all just in the same tier area because, while they're 3-A, they are not at the level of a GoD, but Vegito Blue is definitely the highest of the "High Tier", and could arguably be put on Top Tier if we knew the extent of Beerus' power

And maybe Shenron was unable to turn her back to human not because of 18's being but it being a limitation of Shenron himself? It's blatently clear and obvious that Shenron's wishes are limited to beings who aren't stronger than him or beyond his power like its always been. If correct, 18 being an andriod or a human has nothing to do with Shenron's wishes not affecting her. Otheriwise the same could be applied to Porunga and he was able to revive 18 and 17 after Buu killed them perfectly with no issues.

This point I agree to an extent. They didnt need training but it wasnt because they were always that strong it was because of Gero's modifications that made them that powerful. It was their purpose to be that strong so they could kill Goku. Basically, they were modified to be that strong, its not them naturally being that powerful to begin with so it shouldnt be compared to Frieza.

Also you might be interpreting something wrong here. Just because it was claimed they are humans does not mean they only have the strength of ordinary humans. Krillin, Yamcha and Tien clearly disprove that despite them all being from the human race.

Hit fought Goku after he overwhelmed and reduced Fusion Zamasu to his mutated form and was defeated by him simply charging his energy, Goku was able to sustain and trade blows with 17.

Both holding back doesn't mean they are even Goku could have fought at 10% and 17 at 50%. With that said I still think he deserves an upgrade, however, he shouldn't be placed above characters like Hit Zamasu and Black.

So 17 has become comparable to SSB Goku. Since Anroid arc, 17 did some training in the woods, beating up poachers.

Meanwhile Goku has trained in RoSaT, trained in afterlife for 7 years, received SSJ3, trained on King Kai's 10G planet, received SSG, got zenkai from fighting Beerus (ep 13 and 14), Received training from Whis, trained in Whis' dimension, trained in RoSaT (again) for 3 years, Got SSB, Fought Hit, Fought Black and Zamasu, Fought Hit again and received zenkai (ep 72), Fought Toppo

And 17 did some training in the woods. Seems legit :>

@Joseph619v we do not know what 17's training was and the zenkai boosts fluctuates giving big boosts a one point but small ones at another.

Again, Frieza is a prodigy and has latent potential and trains for 4 months and we don't see his training, all we know is he beat on Tagoma an becomes 3-A its cool.

Trunks, someone who can't beat SSJ3 Goku even after his unknown training, gets mad becomes 3-A its cool

Black Goku, someone who is stated to be as strong as SSJ3 Goku, fights SSJ2 Goku but copies SSJB's power without even seeing it and becomes 3-A its cool

Future Zamasu, someone who is as strong as SSJ2 Goku dose some never stated unknown training, gains immortality and becomes 3-A its cool

But 17, someone who has been stated to train and has been stated and shown to have gotten stronger and training most likely since the end of the Cell Games and for a longer time then any of theses guys I listedlisted though we didn't see it because he became in important but becomes 3-A its BS

I don't see why this is bad as most people are making it seem

Know I am chiming in late, but I would have waited more than a single episode before giving an upgrade that significant, just to see if it was consistent, at least a little.

That being said, the androids getting a bump from training really wouldn't surprise me. Especially 4B. I'd be pretty giddy if 18 got similar bumps.

Should this be closed? They gave use an explanation regardless of how bad it was, they gave use a statement that 17 has become more powerful and would still be a threat if he was evil and they gave us the feat of him pushing Goku into his SSJB and Goku stated he didn't intended to use the form, both where still stated to be holding back and SSJB is >>>> SSJG so even if Goku was holding back he was still 3-A.

This is not the first time someone has had a major boost out of the blue (the four people I named in my last post) and besides if inconsistencies pop up regarding his strength then he will be downgraded simple as that.

Yeah this makes much more sense than Trunks becoming Black's level out of sheer anger (sigh) or cutting Fusion Zamasu in half with a spirit sword (I really don't know how that works unless the spirit sword recognizes evil and is a billion times stronger against an evil character and even then there still shouldn't have been enough living beings to give it that much power) - at least 17 had about 10 years to practice every day as hard as he could with limitless stamina. I think we can wrap this up.

Like Lord of Deathless said, this upgrade makes more sense due t timeframe of training, limitless stamina, and his potential being higher overall than most in the series. While not well justified within the episode, it is justified and supported through various examples and implications that are not easy to see.
