Wiki Vandalism Reports

im applying accepted changes wtf
Like Vzearr said, there’s no way for us to know if you don’t link the thread it got accepted in at least one of your edits.

When you edit a page there should always be a small edit summary box where you are required to link to the content revision thread where your revisions were accepted. Otherwise almost nobody will know that you are not vandalising. 🙏

Okay. That seems like a self-evident change, but somebody should probably give them instructions for the future. 🙏

Well, unfortunately, then they are not allowed to make major edits until they join there. 🙏

I think it’s necessary to create a CRT to properly transfer powers and abilities between a character’s different keys, as the validity of such changes should first be approved by other Godzilla supporters before being implemented.
I don’t think the user is on the forum
Also, yes, he does have an account on the forum, but he mentioned that he doesn’t like to use it.

They want to make major changes to pages, but they don't want to use the forum.

I guess we can just tell them not to make any major changes anymore, and block if any such harm is done. If they want to make minor edits with no forum activity that can be accepted.
A user has continued to make significant changes without CRTs, having done so twice since this "final warning" and restriction on their editing.

Given how they already ignored nine prior warnings (as is now documented in the warning tracker), and how their most recent violation was 25 minutes ago, I expect it'd be uncontroversial for me to ban them for one month without waiting for more current input (although I am ofc willing to change that duration if people think we should).

It might be necessary.

Im making this post preemptively but

Ive removed Sean's edits to his Gloria profile that blatantly mention and regard Pokemon Masters EX as per what was decided for Masters EX

Even now he is still disregarding the outcome of the thread. I'm not calling this a report but just to let people know please.
You mean when it was decided... that it was secondary canon?? Like what I was originally going for the whole time??? Holy shit everything you ever do is complain or tattle on me for nothing in hopes it'll get me in trouble.

~VASIMA, Ant. Not long ago.

I'm not very familiar with this topic, from a brief search I find this post by Imaginym saying that it was accepted as secondary canon, but that specific additions in line with that will need CRTs.

Those edits are to some extent small enough to not need a CRT, but also seem to include the addition of Sync Stones, which would entail adding more abilities to the profile, which does need a CRT.

I know that this has turned into shitstorms before so I am going to be very strict.
  1. I will delete comments on this topic that do not provide legitimate information.
  2. Any "legitimate information" I'm interested is on whether:
    • There are other specific posts that can be referenced, where reliable staff members from a later date say that things should be handled differently than Imaginym suggested.
    • There are any CRTs supporting the addition of (in this case) Sync Stones to Pokemon profiles, due to those revisions around handling Masters EX.
  3. Non-staff users are not allowed to bicker about any other aspect of this here. If you think someone has behaved badly, privately message me or another staff member you trust.
I've deleted the two most recent posts since they did not fall in line with this.

EDIT: To clarify, the non-Sync Stone stuff can be re-added, and other wiki vandalism topics won't face this sort of scrutiny.

Imaginym's post is accurate. It was accepted as secondary canon but addition of abilities and whatnot still needs its own CRT. Sean probably figured the Sync Stones were pretty minor since all they do is remove a weakness, but that still needs a CRT.

Note: I am making this post to clarify to Agnaa what seems to be happening and confirm that Imaginym's post is both accurate and current. This is not an invitation for derailing.

Deleted recent posts as they were already addressed by my previous post, and failed to follow the guidelines I outlined there.

If this continues, I will start implementing thread bans. Yes, if one makes a post, and the other feels compelled to respond, that will apply to both of you.

Also the same guy that vandalised SJW also vandalised Gojo

Moved and reverted the Gojo vandalism

Yeah, they've been reverted.

I "like" posts here, once I (or someone else) has taken appropriate actions on them.
