It's not necessarily conceptual manipulation in general, it depends on the verse like most things, for Bleach specifically though it is concept manipulation, as explained in the thread I linked.

In many verses it seems to actually causes change to the human psyche when you erase names, which is type 4, but that's not a general thing, it might just be text manipulstion or memory erasure

Its not that names are inherently conceptual, its that those verses treats names as concepts.
