Why isn't the wiki locked

So far every contribution I've made to the wiki has been reversed and my only page was deleted without any explanation why, I assume this means you have to talk to the mods about edits first, but if thats the case why isn't every page on the wiki locked? Or am I just doing things wrong?

You can't make changes to a page unless you make a CRT (Content Revision Thread), which people (like knowledgeable members of that verse) have to accept and see if it's acceptable.

A Content Revision Thread (CRT) is a thread where you summarize and argue for changes you want to make on profiles. Its where most of the debatting happens. A CRT needs to be signed off by a mod before being applyable. Changes to profiles without CRT are in worst case scenarios to be interpreted as vandalism.

Because hundreds of CRTs are happening daily and asking for a mod to open and close profiles again and again is not feasible. Popular, prone to vandalism profiles are locked though.

It depends on the power level of the profile you want to make. Generally, every profile above Tier 2 needs a explanation blog/ a thread proofing said rating before they can be published.

Are you talking about how Character pages are unlocked, that's usually because they are not controversial enough to be locked (at least from what I know) Characters like Goku are locked for this very reason.

Also do you need to make a CRT if you are creating a page?

From what I know, as long as it doesn't go above Tier 1 it should be fine. (Hopefully someone prove me wrong, I don't know a whole lot about creating pages)

Yes you need a CRT for everything, if you make a page or changes to a page even if you were the one that created it without mods agreement you can be reported for vandalism and a troll. and nah we rarely lock Tier 1 and below pages and also any changes made to a page can be checked and i think mods can also check the most recently edited page

What does CRT mean?

This might be a late post but, CRT stands for Content. Revision. Thread. It means that you have to create a thread with the changes you want presented in the profile. And discuss with an Admin if the changes are accepted, if you want a higher chance to get your changes accepted you have to use scans and statements of feats. For example I want to add Resistance to Ice Manipulation for this character, you wil have to bring up a scan that shows the action.

Example: Bridget Flynn has Resistance to Ice Manipulation because she broke through being frozen solid.

after you get on your home page when you click post new thread make sure you choose the content revision option.

After that your pretty free in terms of format as long as you add scans and what it is your proposing, of course if your making a long thread or a upgrade that has potential to be controversial (ie tier 1 upgrades, etc) I highly recommend you include things like sections, headers, captions, and paragraphs to help mods and everyone else determine if they agree with your points or not.

Normal users cant ping mods. You can politely ask Staffmembers on their walls to look at your CRT. Preferablly a mod that support said verse. You can find supporter lists on verse pages. If its about a new verse, try ask discussion mods and admins Here is a Staff member list.

Bear in mind that Staff members cant be forced to sign of your CRT, even smaller ones will inevitably take days to week if youre unlucky. Patience is key.
