Metaphysics is the branch of philosophy that deals with the first principles of things, including abstract concepts such as being, knowing, substance, cause, identity, time, and space. Meaning it handles concepts of time and concepts of space and more. This seems to scale high, like in Dragon Ball when it states that the Afterlife isn't connected but the most metaphysical way possible.

And the same with concepts, they are an abstract idea; a general notion, and sound impressive

It means that metaphysics is a branch of study, not a singular thing. There are various metaphysical theories with their own understanding of the cosmos and not a singular thing you can scale to. You literally can go from Below tier 11 to Tier 0 depending on the branch. You can, for example, scale to a branch of metaphysics depending on how much it's explained in the work, but just saying "metaphysics" or even giving the name of the branch isn't enough (Considering that branches themselves have their own sub-branches that go on to either overlap or contradict each other).

No. To grossly oversimplify things, all branches of metaphysics focus on that, but with different interpetations. For an example of metaphysics that powerscalers really love for some reason, think of Plato's concept of Forms.

How do you know which metaphsyical property is attributed to each and why? For example in DB the Afterife is considered to be connected in the most metaphysical way possible and has no concept of time

Scaling metaphysics in a vacuum is more vague than say scaling physics in a vacuum since physics has more tangible values you can work with than metaphysics less tangible values.

1st Definition of Metaphysical: A reality beyond what’s perceptible

2nd Definition of Metaphysical: Transcendence Sense in a Person’s Mind (sorta like the first one)

Depends on the concept itself. To manipulate metaphysics would mean you either

A. Can alter something like the human mind to B. Reality itself.
The impressive thing about metaphysics is that it's something you can't touch, and normally built on ideas or concepts. Intangible things.

What i'm trying to say is you'd simply handle it case by case. Because not everyone is going to simply scale to each other due to altering or doing something related to metaphysics.

But if you think that the application of metaphysics to certain feats in some fiction then it's varies.
