What is The energy required to freeze a human?

So basically, character A has a feat in which they can instantly freeze a humanoid creature, incasing them in a layer of ice for a limited time. I've heard that it is possible to derive energy values from freezing feats, so does anyone have a rough estimate of how much energy this would yield?
