Superman Prime (the golden fellow) is the original Kal-El / Clark Kent himself who left Earth sometime in the late 21st Century after all the mortals he knew and loved passed away. He passed on the mantle of Superman to his son Superman Secundus. He travelled the universe till the 700th Century. After his travels, he went off into his Fortress of Solitude in the Super Sun but not before sharing a small part of his power with his descendants, the Superman Dynasty.

Superman One Million, Kal Kent, is a member of the Superman Dynasty and is a distant descendant of Clark Kent born sometime in the 853rd Century. He holds the mantle of Superman of that era.
