A character has the power to "cut through everything", as an example of his power he cuts through a special attack that has the property of erasing from existence everything that comes into contact with it.
Characters who see this can only point out how absurd it is that the character was able to "cut through" an existential erasure attack.

Most likely just a Spatial manipulation attack, though it can also have other properties depending on the description like Durability negation, power negation, and causality manipulation, but those 3 would depend on the context, and should not be assumed.

I don't see how causality manipulation happening here, but spatial manipulation & EE is the least what it gets.
