I saw that scene when Itachi got edo tenseid, he regained control. Then he explained about shisui's Kotoamatsukami. Did itachi use kotoamatsukami to regain control?

Was Itachi able to use Kotoamatsukami?

Itachi had possession of one of Shisui's Mangekyō eyes which are able to cast Kotoamatsukami, and he transplanted the eye in a crow, and he somehow planted the crow inside Naruto with Chakra magic.
Itachi programmed to crow to come out of Naruto and cast Kotoamatsukami when Naruto encounters a Sharingan user.
Itachi planned to brainwash Sasuke to 'protect Konoha' and be loyal to it, however Naruto encountered Edo Itachi first which ended up freeing Itachi from Edo Tensei's control.
