Warhammer 40k Potential Major(?) Upgrade

@Matt

That's what I was trying to express with the whole "encompasses" thing, but just in case I wasn't making it clear enough to outside observers, yes, they are one and the same. The "datascape" is just how the AdMech perceive a portion of the Immaterium, hence why it looks so...AdMech themed.

Yes, obviously. The description of the Warp in Eldar novels is also very clearly different from those in Imperium novels. The datascape is likely the Warp as a whole, as perceived by the AdMech.

@Matt

I wouldn't say as a whole, as when Magnus ventures into the "deep Warp", it basically becomes nothing since he can't even put anything into proper conceptualisation or metaphor, but if you mean the majority of it as we usually think of it, then yes, it would be.

Definitely within the setting.

Though there's probably some generic High 1-B she could stomp.
Isha vs Celestine. Who's better to ship with the Emperor

Unless you don't transcend the abstract concept of dimensions directly, being above or transcending infinite spatio-temporal dimensions still puts you at High 1-B as defined by 1-A's definition. Just look at the Downstreamers:

  • Note 1: Simply transcending an infinite-dimensional reality, even an infinite or beyond infinite number of times over, does not qualify a character for 1-A/Outerverse level, unless the characters in question are directly stated to be conceptually superior to the concept of dimensions, or unlimited by any kind of dimensions. Thus, while space-time is likely no longer an effective force on their reality, it can be assumed that their realm of existence, which is stated to vastly transcend an infinitely-infinite totality, is simply another "kind," of dimension, and thus, they only qualify for a High 1-B rating, albeit at close to the highest end possible for such a tier.
That being said, I suppose I support this as well. I was going to try and upgrade them to 1-A based on definitions used in their profiles previously, anyway.

I also think that High 1-B seems to make sense.

It is probably best to let Azathoth handle it.

Higher-dimensional entities or the regular stuff?
Regular.

@Matt

Let's see, three months.

  • 70.000 ly = 6,62251e+20 meters
  • 6,62251e+20 : 60 (Second) : 60 (Hour) : 24 (Day) : 30 (Month) : 3 (Three months) = 85166023662551,44 m/s
  • Converting that to c, that is about 284083,27c. Really underwhelming for their tier.

@Matt

70,000 light years is 21462.098 parsecs. That, divided by 7,776,000 seconds (3 months) is 0.00276004346 parsecs per second, or about 284083.33834611c.

Relatively underwhelming.

I mean, it isn't a bad feat. But we're talking about a tier where people are expected to be, on the veeery least, on the millions, if not billions times faster than light.

Sorry, I was celebrating with my family. I can make the edits, now. Matt and others familiar with the setting can make further touch-ups afterwards if they would like.

@Azzy: it's all good. I'll let you and Matt handle it considering you two are the only ones I know that are familiar with even the God tiers so...

I have updated the pages. Don't believe I missed anything, but if I did, let me know. Modified the description for each of the four main Chaos Gods, a bit. This is the finalized version.

"Controls the Warp, which can only be navigated with a device that requires an infinitely larger amount of dimensions to operate. The Immaterium is an infinitely dimensional realm of thought and metaphor that is far above the combined knowledge and essence of the material universe, which already contains a myriad of higher dimensions so great that they 'cannot be defined by so limited a thing as human language'. Unbound by the restrictions of physical reality, such as form and its dimensions, save any he should choose to impose on himself and his surroundings."

Changes look good. Though who was that one character that got possibly High 1-B, Khaine?

Anyways, I'll let Matt take over as the following touch ups guy and come around after when he gets the chance.

Btw Azzy, can I add the fact that Skarbrand fought Guilliman on his page even though the latter already notes that? Also, High 1-B Kairos though...

A few of the profiles have High Hyperversal as a descriptor instead of High Hyperverse level, and on at least one that I saw, High Hyperverse level is literally written in the tier as opposed to High 1-B.

Yee. But on phone rn and kind of want Matt to get the chance to do his shit first.

Anyways, Hap Christ btw. Taking the night for...chilling~
