Vs battles wiki pet peeves

Probably not in my best interest to post this considering how much hate I'm already getting, but researching God of War is genuinely the most agonizing thing I've ever done on this wiki. Even just double checking the pages for innocuous stuff often leads me down a rabbit hole of finding two, three, or even more abilities I missed during my initial sweep that are just explicitly, comically wrong. I literally just went go check Zeus' profile so I could grab a scan from his breath attack justification, which led to me realizing his incorporeality is wrong, which led to me realizing that Kratos' corruption resistance is wrong, which led to me realizing that his "resistance to all of Hades' abilities" thing is wrong, which led to me realizing that Hades' biological manipulation is wrong, which- I can't fucking take it anymore man, it's just a neverending cascade of bullshit. All of this happened in the course of like 10 minutes.

No other verse has had me audibly go "how the fuck did they get away with this" at least once a day. I'll often overstate my annoyance towards some verses because it's funny, but GoW has the distinction of being the only verse where this isn't a bit and looking at how bad things have gotten makes me genuinely angry. My initial estimate of 12 threads over a course of 3 weeks is now hilariously outdated, and I think it's safe to say I'll be doing these downgrades for the rest of the year, if not longer. This isn't even including the magic or cosmology threads! Those are gonna take even longer, and the explanation pages are somehow just as bad as the profiles!

I need to emphasize that I've had to manually replace several thousand scans across multiple research documents, retype thousands of words that have been lost due to power outages or simple negligence, rewrite entire threads from the ground up multiple times, and spend hundreds of dollars on translations and various gaming magazines all for the sake of this hobby (the translations and magazines are mostly for my own enjoyment, though), yet all of that is somehow magnitudes easier than trying to sort through whatever the hell is going on with GoW on this wiki.

I also wanna point out that I don't even hate GoW or GoW supporters (I'll begrudgingly admit I've come to like Kratos a bit more as a character due to being exposed to more GoW stuff recently); I just hate the way yall scale shit. I also hate the way yall handle debating, because let's not forget the - what are up to now, 3? - false RVR reports that have been made as a result of this series of revisions. Because apparently having to debate the most miniscule shit for ten pages straight somehow wasn't agonizing enough by itself.

Sorry for the long rant, it's been upwards of two months since I've started this whole thing, I'm exhausted, and I needed to vent. Don't take this as anything more than "researching this verse sucks and I don't like debating it"; It's not an insult, it's not a personal attack, I'm just tired. Although feel free to make a fourth false report if it'll make you feel better, I guess.
What witch craft did God of War supporters use and how can I get it for SAO.

Oh yeah that one was funny. Scaling a kaiju from a 6 meter fish. One of Monster form alecto's teeth is bigger than that. Could've at least used a squid smh

A glimpse into a better world...

How high are we planning to wank are favorite verses once it goes through guys?
I don't know how important such things are in the new system, but I hope it doesn't get to ridiculous places.
"Hahahaha, that's because I'm not omniscient and omnipotent. At the time of birth, there was only my own consciousness, which was complete and lacking nothing. The whole thing, the whole one that is to say, there's only me in the world, isn't that boring?"

I see, Guy thought.

He understood.

That is to say, Veldanava, by his own will, gave up the "omniscience and omnipotence."
I'll bet he did. If he could see how everything would turn out, it'd be the most boring thing ever.
Thanks to him omnipotence for throwing away the sake of experiencing genuine change, the ideal society he envisioned was no longer possible to implement. But to Veldanava, that was the right decision to make. A world that moved strictly on his own will didn't seem remotely interesting to him.

My sincere best wishes to you, Fuji. I genuinely appreciate people who put significant effort and integrity in indexing.

I react like this a lot to the stuff I see on the wiki but I've never had the time nor energy to work on shit I like and am knowledgeable about, much less on shit I'm unfamiliar with.

I might be bluffing but i feel like people sometimes forget that inverse and chain scaling exists and im forced to do a rough explaining just to argue over one thing, and then when people just straight up forget that someone not having an for example planet busting feat but can damage a planet lvl character they just assume the planet lvl guy is now automatically downgraded into oblivion

On the inverse of that, i find verses that rely exclusively on chain scaling where everyone scales of off one high level feat while all of their other feats are ass to be really annoying

Basically Dragon Ball, lol

Only the very start of the classic era has more than 2 calculated feats, then them starts to scale to Roshi´s Moon level attack

Then the whole Z and Super era scales to one feat and 3 statements

At least Dragonball has a neat little power progression that's visible through the series.
OG DB and Raditz arc characters are moon level from Roshi and Piccolo
Then Sayian Saga characters get to Planetery ranges from Vegeta
Then in the Frieza Arc we have very casaul destruction of a large planet followed by a shit ton of power ups, putting everyone in the star range
Then you have Solar System level Cell
Then Buu destroying a galaxy overtime, followed by Kid Buu being able to destroy th universe overtime
And finally you get to Super were Goku could have destroyed the universe with a few attacks by accident
(Also yes, i know this doesn't line up exactly with our ratings, I'm just saying that there is clear progression in power throughout DB which i think justfies it's lack of in screen feats)

It's just a natural thing that happens in verses if author's don't really care too much about having big gaps of power between people. no big deal
