Verses with no souls

How would this site treat a verse that has all its characters (whether its fodder or the top tiers) state something like, "souls don't exist" from a reliable character in verse or from the creator? This is just a hypothetical btw, I'm not planning to add a new verse or anything just wanted to know.

They would have immunity to soul manipulation, which is something already applied to characters who lack one.

Pretty sure verse equalization would only apply if souls weren't a thing but were replaced hy some energy or essence that pretty acted like them whil estill not being souls.

If they simply lack souls, immunity.

There is no evidence souls don't exist irl, we don't have the technology to detect stuff beyond the physical.

For real world stuff, like any verse, we simply default that they have a soul.
This was discussed long ago and that's the way it's done on thar regard, that's why Composite Human got stomped by Culexus Assassin.

well that look like a weird loophole

If it's explicitly confirmed that everyone in the verse is a zombie with no soul and the like; then they'd all be immune to soul manipulation.

Simply not bringing the concept soul doesn't no mean the characters in the verse doesnot have soul.

At the end it depends of verse equalization, the reason why beings in one verse do not have soul may not be enough to fulfill the requeriments of being soulless in another verse.

Yeah, I don't think it should be a standard assumption for any verse to "Have no souls" unless it's super in our faces about it. I don't think any verses should receive special treatment solely because it has a very ultra strict secular setting.
