Recently in the Absolute Carnage comic Venom killed Dark Carnage by making his symbiote manifesting a Necro sword. I'm not entirely sure where this puts Venom but he should at least have some form in which he's comparable to dark Carnage.

Marvel Powerscaling Rules. The site seems broken atm, but when it’s returned to normal you should read it if you hadn’t. In short, we don’t give people new Keys unless the Tiering is consistent. Not sure how this’d effect this scenario however- how many times has he used this ‘Necrosword’?

I am only aware of Venom using this twice at the end of a comic in which before using it he was being overpowered by Carnage. In the following comic it was shown Carnage survived but he had been seriously damaged at least, The other time I have an image of Venom using it against Grendel

Donny Cates has a terrible sense of consistency and power scaling. At this point, this just an outlier, unless it's expanded upon later and made a regular thing, but highly doubt it. He just writes things "because it's cool".
