Well in this case, while Tang was time traveling alone through the scrolls, it created new timelines whenever he appears. And the scrolls was stated to recreate the entire history of Sun Wukong's journey
If that's not enough proof, all of the timelines in the scroll got destroyed after MK killed the scroll protector. However, Wukong got them back when he was traveling through his pasts

Yeah. It happened in season 4 special tho it happens in the scroll of memories (they being spacetimes are approved tho)
